Long live Filipino Kali Escrima! One of the best fight scenes ever! Shows just how effective and realistic Kali is. I met Jeff Imada last year and he said he had so much fun doing this scene.

@ landrakisjunior: Jeff Imada is a student of Dan Innosanto, so this likely is Innosannto Kali and Jeet Kuno Do /Concepts). But there are a lot of Eskrima styles and Kali styles. Just read the wikepedia artikel and search phillipino martial arts to learn something generally about the different styles. There are Sayoc Kali, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Warriors Eskrima, Silat Lincah, Modern Arnis, Silat Serak. Even look out for Kuntao.

go for modern arnis. its kali, escrima and arni (its all the same stuff, just the name is different). modern arnis is training with more realistic cases for our time.

In Fact this has very much to do with Bruce Lee/JKD. Jeet Kune Do which is Bruce Lee´s way of Fighting, has Elements of Kali/Arnis in it.

Those Elements of Kali in Jeet Kune Do came from Dan Inosanto who is an Expert in Filipino Martial Arts and Friend of Bruce Lee and Jeff Imada.

Jeff Imada also studied Jeet Kune Do under Dan Inosanto.
