  • Fred Savage was a beast with his facial expressions. He was so talented when he was young.

  • That was a powerful scene when she waited for him to take up for her and he remained silent. Great acting!!!

  • MOTHER OF SIX ?! ...DAMN!

  • At 2:45 you can see her heart start to break. To think that I once did the same thing to some poor girl fills me with, what I can only assume is, the same pain and sadness I had caused her.

  • hey, hey, hey, whats going on here !!!! XD

  • Hahahaaa I remember watching this same episode back in the day... I'll always remember her as the 'taranchula grl' lol

  • This episode always gets to me. I was never mean to someone like this, but at that age everyone cares about what others think of them. When you get older, you realize how irrelevant thinking how "uncool" it was to talk to someone. You realize people go about their childhoods made fun of and such all because people can't think for themselves, they do the mean things to people at that age because of the influence of others. Sad episode, but good at the same time. Love the Wonder Years...

  • i actually had to dance with a girl just like margaret in 7th grade gym class... the weird girls are indeed sweethearts. the ending to this episode is great too with the yearbook. people like margaret become relatively successful, more than half the kids end up dead, in jail, or on drugs

  • there's an licensing issue with the music, that's why it's not out on dvd. the company could release the shows without the music but the songs are integral to the show.

  • Margaret is beautiful.

  • This girl was on a few episodes of Roseanne in the early 90's. She played a girl named Dana that was a friend of Becky's. I thought she was Becky's best looking friend. They got drunk in one episode. Her real name is Lindsay Fisher.

  • Margaret is so adorable, I'd have fallen in love with a girl like that in grade school.

  • Brilliant episode. Everyone has been a Margaret in their life, and everyone has treated someone like this in their life. She is a seriously cool person in the truest sense of the word.

  • Margaret is my hero! Margaret is beautiful behind those pig-tales. Sorry lol.

  • @elyurita ---The ending of this episode makes me cry ....HARD!!! LOL...I love this show!

  • i did something like this to a girl once when i was 12 ... im 28 now .. to this day i think about her ... i remember how bad i made her feel .... to this day i feel guilty ...

  • I feel ssoooo bad for her. She's so cute.

  • anyone know what she looks like today? if she is still alive that is. im not meaning to sound insensitive. im just not sure. any info would be much appreciated.thanks

  • This was one of the best episodes, because it's a situation we've all been in. All of us at some point was like Kevin and were prejudice towards other and all of us have been looked down upon by others, like Margaret.

  • I feel bad because I was 13 when I first saw this episode and also avoided girls like Margaret. Now that I'm older and wiser, and look back at the course of this show, Margaret was probably the single coolest girl Kevin met, along with Linda from 'Don't You Know Anything About Women?'.

  • This episode should be required viewing in every middle and high school in America: It captures the impact of bullying more than any other.

  • @mlc2005 now they view racism related films in secondary school. At least in Eu, that I know.

  • @mlc2005 ---You are so right....beautiful ending!

  • Way to go, Kevin! Kick her while she's down!

  • cont... This is why I love this show so much to reflect on our actions and memories of our childhood.

  • That was messed up what Kevin said to Margaret, I would have dated her and wouldn't care what people thought. I love goofy/weird girls because their so unique and interesting, as you can see Kevin did so when talking to her in his kitchen. But unfortunately at that age we are stupid, superficial, immature, and cared what others thought was uncool. It is not until we are older and wiser that we think about the mistakes we've made when we were young.

  • im actually attracted to weird geek grls

  • I might care about what people think of me on some level but when I want to be friends with someone, I'm friends with them. Look at all the people you miss out on getting to know when you worry what people might think. lol It's just not worth it to worry. lol :)

  • 6 kids?????? She obviously adopted. LOL

  • I bet that girl is hot in real life now!!!

  • contrary to that myth.....she's not

  • 10 years later she was convicted of murdering 15 teenage boys and feeding them to her tarantulas. Good job Kevin

  • my god her face DROPPED when kevin said "or infront of anybody"

  • kevin's in 7th grade, give him a break

  • Kevin is so green!!! He should of risen about the middle schol norms and just talked to the girl!!!

  • back then people didn't believe in going against the social norm. No wonder some many people got killed in 'Nam

  • at the end of part 2, funny how kev justs pushed her ass out of the door, alright bye!. and when he tells her to leave with the cup and get some water from the hose down the st. lol so funny

  • poor margaret

  • that's not quite right, in 7th grade everyone thinks you are who everyone says you are. however, you are still you, and the less you care about what others think the better off you will be in life

  • LOL! Secret Friends!?

  • I admit, I LOL'ed at the helicopter!

  • lol, "secret friends"..............

  • 7th grade was hard, you'd spend so much time thinking about what others thought of you, you'd miss out alot actually thinking about who you are, and what your about.

  • im 25 and still spend too much time thinking of what others think of me.

  • @JokerKlownX

You and I both; I turn 25 in less than a month tho.

  • @JokerKlownX plz be confident i ahte it whrn ppl r like tht

  • Umm, Where Did you get this from coz there is no abc sign on the end???? is this a dvd?

  • I bet today she is a porn star

  • Strangely, i would very much like to see that.

  • a biology nerd, any time for me too.

  • i remembr my dad told me to watch this and he sed "youll love it" and thats exactly right

  • 7th grade was a worst time for me also.

  • same

  • poor girl

  • @Patrick200717 It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to our enemies, but it takes a great deal more to stand up to our friends.

  • hey njkenny do you know any sites that have all the episodes of this piece of television glory?

  • As far as I know the WY's has not been released on DVD as of yet. WY was being shown on NICK for awhile but no longer.

  • @starman900 I heard that they may start reruns again in oct on discovery kids.

  • 2 bad they dont put more episoids up

  • It's true what he said about 7th graders saying you are whoever they say you are.I remember when i was in the 7th grade, it was one of the worst times in my life. Thank god it's just a memory now.

  • 11th grade for me sucked!

  • I think he's in 8th grade.

  • 7th grade!

  • T_T the best fucking episode EVER!!!!

  • Great Episode.

I always thought it was funny, because a few years later, I became and AVID 'friend to bats,' and am to this day (and I recently became a friend to tarantulas)
