My one complaint is that they took the message from Atlas Shrug, and flipped it on its head. In the book its about how this move that pushes against capitalism actually harms society, and can destroy it all together. Yet with Bioshock claims that capitalism is extremely destructive, and government intervention is key to a stable society!

fallout 3 is a good game with maybe better graphics, storyline, and more weapons. But Bioshock gives you plasmids, gives you harder enemies to face that actually react to your weapon response, Bioshock doesn't take forever to walk around the freaking wasteland because you can't run. Its more simpler game thats better. I think Bioshock is better!!

Depends, if you wanna play something for a good single player, but excellent multiplayer get CoD 4. But beware that it will probably not go down in gaming history, as fps keeps evolving towards better multiplayer faster.

If you on the other hand want something completely unique and crazy good atmosphere and story, get Bioshock, which is probably the closest thing to a mainstream game being a piece of art. However the replay value is not that great compared to CoD 4.

when i first played the game i didnt think it was all that great, as i just rushed through it. the second time i cleared it, where i took time out to explore the world, collect audio diaries and collect adam, was where i realised just how masterful the game really is. better than GTA IV in my opinion

I agree, Bioshock could not do a multiplayer sense it would not make sense, You can say plasmids and weapons ect. But the story was the purpose, And the last time they made a multiplayer (co-op) it was very bad(glitchs,and the stor did not feel the same) It just would not be the same, Look at halo, no one cares about the story, and thats what they wanted for there last game halo3. Same with Cod4 the majority plays multi only, while Bioshock makes you want to experience the whole story again.

Storys are the main theme of the game FACT, If Halo didn't have any storyline then it would suck.

Look at Halo combat envolved, It didn't have multiplater but still worked out didn't it?

Well It is fun to go back and battle the splicers, god though, if you were reading and learning about it during the year or so befor it was released, it was suppose to be so much better, with the rpg system of bioshock, a "Complete" city exploration, ect. But the ESRB scared Ken and he dumbed it down for Both, Thats why he is being replaced due to a large portion of Take2 were dissapointed in his way of doing things.

The only bad thing is that this hasnt multiplayer but since the developers only focused on the singleplayer then it means that this game dont really needs a multiplayer i mean if this game had multiplayer developers then would focus a lot on multiplayer but only singleplayer means that the singleplayer is awesome because u got like 2 years to work on a singleplayer thats also why singleplayer in a singleplayer only game like bioshock is better than halo 3s or cod 4s or crysis for example....

i dont know if anyone else noticed this but some of the video footage of the review is taken from the demo and not the full game... i say this because in the full game you dont get increnrate early on, you get it once you enter the medical area, but in the demo, and in the video review, you get it in the first level of the game ( in the bath room before you see your first little sister...) just an interesting point to note...

I like multiplayer games, and on that basis halo is an awesome game. The reason I did not like the first halo single player (only one I tried to be honest) is that I found it to be a bit cartoonish in regards to the bad guys. Bioshock is just different and unique. It's more what I like, no need to hate halo, because it is a good game, just not what I go for. I play pc games, in the end we all go to through microsoft for bioshock or halo..

yeah, I notice a lot of people complaining about there Xbox. Especially about the red rings. Yet I have got the red ring only once(and that was after I was at a tourney with my friends and we had xbox 360 on for 3 days straight so its acceptable and it was only 1, it probably overheated)
