Does anyone know the name of the California steady burn interior police light that flips down for code 3s? its round in shape. ive seen hotfoot in some title descriptions but i cam up with nothing. ive looked every where and cant find the name. anything that can help will be appreciated. name, model number, where to get it. anything. been see in the movie "Phone booth", "colors", and "SWAT"
I remember Highway Patrol, Dragnet And Adam 12 and I had so much respect for the police officers in my city Edmonton Alberta that my ambition was to be a police officer. I served almost 30 years until ill health forced me to retire. I greatly miss the force and I continue to contribute to my department by building models of police cruisers and collecting photos of police cruisers. I have a soft spot for the 50s police units

This is "10-4 day", we were all motorcadeing doing Code 3 (full lights and sirens), to the historic Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Many of these cars are mine. That "10-4 day" parade was a wondeful event, to salute and support Law Enforcement, with beautifully restored classic police vehicles, and in the memory and honor of the classic T.V. series from the 1950's and 1960's called "Highway Patrol", which stared Broderick Crawford, and also many other classic police T.V. shows.
