There is something wrong with the mirror scene on the left-most elevetor. The part where the image is supposd to warp just shows a bunch of purple stuff and Disney has yet to fiix this problem. It looks tacky too! But the other elevators show it just fine.

@LIFESTARGURL I went on it for the first time two weeks ago and I'll be honest it was a little scary but it is the singlehandedly my most favorite ride at Cali Adventures, I went on it twice! If you don't know what to expect, it'll be a little scary, but it's completely fine and you will have a lot of fun! When you drop you just feel your stomach drop with it, it does like a mini drop then it goes back up and does the big drop, it's exhiliarting, just try it!

Haha I remember the first time I rode this ride at Disney World when I was 9. I was too scared the same night to ride the elevator in the hotel I was staying at. So the rest of our trip, because it was raining just like it was described, I took the stairs.

@iglooset one of my friends was completely freaked out right before we forced him on the ride, like I was forced. I completely fell in love with it! :D He asked the cast member "What's this ride like? Is is fun?" And the cast member redplied, "Oh I haven't been on the ride yet." My friend really freaked after that! He was like "Wait you work here even though you've never been on the ride?!" He also shouted "Oh shit!" after the "its opening for you." :D good times, good times.

@jo951000 it goes back just a little. it's completely random how far you will drop because the system randomizes it each time... you usually make the full drop or almost a full drop every time. like when i went it was a full drop, a couple of medium drops, and a couple of short drops. the number of times you drop is random too

Ha, every time I go on ToT and everyone stands in the room waiting for the pre-movie... once the lights go out scream "I thought there were seat belts on this ride" and stuff of that sort to make it seem like this is the part where you actually go up and down..... you'll scare at least a few newcomers every time. It's great.

Also! Once you get onto the actual ride, right after the movie ends and the drop is coming, don't hold on. It's much more fun (plus you get more air)

I LOVE Tower of Terror! I'm glad my friend practically forced me to go on. I'm afraid of heights, and seeing hte elevator drop from a distance and hearing the screams freaked me out as well.

But oh man, after the first time, I went on again and again and again! I even let my seat belt have some slack so I could get some air like I did the first time! :) Disney would be mega proud of his parks!

Sometimes the key is to watch videos of this ride about ten times a day for a week before your trip. (I did it for a month, and I only let out a few eeps) Then it won't be so… embarrassing.

whats cool about this ride is it has a computer program that randomly generates the distance you fall and how you move around so its different every time.

-Drop from hallway

-Another small drop

-Ascend to the top

-Fake drop followed by a real drop down the tower

-Go up almost to the top

-Drop down near the bottom

-Go up to the top one last time

-Final drop

Im not one for the big stomach churning rides but my step sister who had been in this ride said oh it only drops you like 5 feet at a time. oh no no no no no. I was lifted out of my sea at points. My whole body was shaking like crazy and id held onto my step moms arm while riding. It was december so she was wearing multiple layers. I somehow still managed to break skin on her arm. Felt so bad...
