I agree with you for the most part. It's not necessarily rare to hear christian rock and metal, you just have to dig deep enough and know where to look. North Europe seems to have had a huge rise in christian metal lately. America, on the other hand, has fallen apart musically. Good, heavy christian bands are few and far between. Theocracy and Demon Hunter are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.

Because religious people are rarely right with God. God doesn't want some worthless religion, there's thousands of those: He just wants an active relationship with us. This is the same voice that screams for the storming of hell. It is amazing that Demon Hunter can pull of metal and acoustic, and both be good!  Their mix of styles make them one of the few real metal bands I like!
