I know a lot of Everton fans have been moaning about the lack of signings, but as a Toffee fan myself, I have to say this is a brilliant signing. It's only a season long loan I know but Drenthe could really add a lot to the squad this season especially as Arteta has parted ways. He's got a lot of pace, a lot of skill, and maybe, just maybe, we can sort some sort of miracle signing out and get him permanently. If we have any money left at all, that is...

@samiee32 drenthe went to madrid to early in his career and he had to learn the hard way. Dont think his mentality was right. Very stuborn and proud guy, probably emotional too, seeing his performances at Madrid diminshed when he received some hate from Madrid fans. Not that there's something wrong with that. But it does make you enemies. Seems his head is on straight this time, he said he wanted to wear the orange shirt again, even if its on the leftback position. Hope he does well at Everton
