The song that plays on the real episode 77... 4Kids butchered the series from its Japanese counterpart. Seeing what happened to Tails when he had to kill the girl he loved to save the galaxy really shot down the finale if you ask me. Sonic X demands a season 4 at least to fill in the mysteries surrounding what happened next, and how Tails is doing in the long run. Who knows? Bringing back Cosmo somehow would be great (and putting her in games >_>).

Now Chris is gay for another hedgehog (in the awful Sonic X comic he acted gay for him to) The whole Sonic Adventure arcs in Sonic X was totally wrong anyways, and Chris ruins such retellings of great games. Chris seriously ruins everything, why couldn't they just get rid of him in the 3rd season? Why did he have to come back!? DX

Yeah it was in the final issue, Sonic shows Chris that he's alive, and he starts crying like a little girl and hugs him saying cheesy stuff like "I thought I'd never see you again" XD

The Sonic X comic really sucks anyway because it's just like the dubbed version

What's scary is if they made a fourth season they'd probably make it based off of Sonic 2006, that means their would be a love triangle!

I would just hope they make another original story and leave him out of it

The truer translation is "Lighted Road" based on the Kanji, sort of a road with street light, at night. I guess that maybe they planned it to be a romantic night setting, until it was changed into a sweet dawn setting.

Hoping that the games will incorporate something like it. The closest current song that resemble it is probably Sonic World Adventure / Unleashed's "My Dear Friend".

Not that hard really, nor they have an option, since when they make Sonic X, Sonic and Amy is the only official unofficial couple in the game.

In the third batch of 26 episodes, they kinda put several couplings:

Tails and Cosmo, who was modeled after Hikaru Michi.

And also of course, Cosmo's parents.

Vector and Vanilla, as a forbidden love affair (totally different species, plus isn't Vanilla married?).

Shadow and Molly, at before her craft destroyed and afterward.

Epic, or a mess. Really, the third batch of 26 episodes was made during the development of Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Riders, it incorporate elements of both games.

Imagine if it incorporate elements from 2006's Sonic the Hedgehog, which a bit of a mess, but not as messy as some said. Even so, SEGA cleaned it up, causing a time paradox.

The last thing I want in the fourth batch of 26 episodes is for Amy to bake Shadow a cake.

Well, it's kinda standard-ish for a Japanese animated ending song (with a standard animated ending scene), but it's good nonetheless. I guess many liked it enough that it became the ending for most sonic x episodes.

It's though a bit of unusual for Sonic (a bit too subtly sentimental), but not really that out of character. It totally fit in with Shadow though.

Sonic was the one revived by Elise, NOT vice versa. The game's story implied only the recently dead can be revived this way.

Sonic is Sonic, Shadow is Shadow. I doubt that the life status of Maria (whose like a mother to him) would change him.

In ShtH, it was subtly implied Maria somehow survived. In the video journal she said she and Shadow will protect the Earth, suggesting that she's cured. And the Chaotix seems to received a Shadow-centric job for an unrevealed client.

I didn't know about the video journal of Maria's. I didn't complete Shadow the Hedgehog 100% with all the endings. As for the Chaotix, I actually was always curious what they were doing there and who hired them.

SA 2 implied: Maria died due her own disease. Gerald blamed GUN for taking the Ark and stalled his research for her cure, then reprogrammed Project Shadow for revenge. Shadow is a recent Sonic clone created by Project Shadow's machines. Amy is Maria's reincarnation.

ShtH implied: Maria to be lost or died during the cross fight between GUN and Black Arms. Shadow was confirmed to be not a recent Sonic clone. Chaotix got a Shadow-centric assignment from an unrevealed client.

Unrequited love is a love that isn't replied back.

This song sounded more about unconditional love, a love that don't ask to be replied back.

However the feeling is that the odds are stacked very heavily against them, and how lost is she without him by her side, but she will continue to love him no matter what.

Of course, the lyrics is about a lovesick girl who is too shy to confess to a cool boy she likes, and it kinda a bit too H in some of it.

1:15 is the first emotional outburst of the song, where 'she' started to boldly proclaimed her intention.

At 3:23 to 4:00, it's the most emotional climax. It's also the part used in the 52nd episode, when Amy poured out all of her feelings, saying she will wait for Sonic even if she's old and everyone were gone, and upset over him never verbally confirmed his feelings for her ("what's mine, what's mine, give it!").

SonAmy and Taismo, yes. Especially Taismo who seems to be modeled after this song.

Maria, maybe not, the dynamic between the relationship and the song is different. She and Shadow were more of the mother and son type (like Mary and Jesus).

However, it does fit with Shadow, though the singer is either have to be him or a yet unreleased character (since Silver's appearance, it's implied that Shadow bound to procreate).
