there was so much spirit back in the 80s, can you imagine fans charging the field today? at least people in 2009 are better looking than back than though
I predicted the '84 season in January of that year in a phone call to JP McCarthy on WJR. I was living in Los Angeles at the time and got to go to both the record tying and record breaking road game wins in Anaheim. What a great year! Made me fell 10 again (I was 10 in 1968)....
i remember that night. it was a sunday and we had a huge party till 2 in the morning. had school the next day and that was all anybody talked about. what a great time that was.. thank you for posting!!!
my parents were at this game on a date and caught some grass that got cut out of the field when the fans rushed it w/ their switchblades to knife up the turf of the outfield, when the fans got done there were craters in the stadium.
wow, what a lame comment. Tiger Stadium will always be the best stadium in Tigers history, but CoPa is a great stadium also. They had to change stadiums because it was becoming too expensive to maintain that old stadium.
I seen a picture of it at a defunct restaurant Kosch's in Sterling Heights and it was seen on my calendar I had in the mid-1990's that featured an old man with shirt with Big Bird from Sesame Street on it and says "The Bird's The Word".
Won't see fans storm the field after a World Series Championship ever again! Baseball Was Better then! Also Tiger Stadium Rules! Comerica Park and Tigers owner Mafia Mike Ilitch Suck! If the Tigers win the World Series in 08, I hope they win it on the road
That guy at 1:41 is a dumbass, the Tigers didn't win the pennant retard.....
