fader start is good. you can cut in with it and move the pitch slider up and down on a long pitch setting like +100% and get a good scratch effect if your not that skilful with using the platters.
What should I take , numark ns7 or kontrol s4 ? I don't really plan on scratching , I will just use it mostly for mixing the harder styles =D thx in advance people!
@Seantube3 i don't have an S4, but the NS7 is very much a scratch DJ's tool!! if the idea of cutting, scratching + the real vinyl feel etc isn't what your after, you'd probably be happier with the S4... and it's about half the price too! mebby even look at the S2 if you don't have the need for 4 decks :)
kutski ur a legend but i wouldnt say this is good. have seen u scratch much better than this and its not really scratchin coz its all cue'd up with visual
@officialdjjohnstone 7 i'd say overall. It does everything it is meant to perfectly, but it's very expensive and big and heavy. If you want an all-in-one solution for a vinyl loving scratch DJ, this is a clear 10/10 winner, nothing can touch it. But if you just want a controller for DJ software to mix with there are other alternatives for a lot cheaper :)
Love the controller haters, than you see someone like kutski absolutely crush it, food faux thought...

is the ns7 fully midi? or does it have a power cable?
JiguanaDJ 2 months ago
@JiguanaDJ needs power cable, when you feel how heavy duty it is, it will make sense, you need 100 usb's to power that batboy lol :)
