i grew up watching Cricket/Christine, i my opinion shes best one on the show Lauralee Bell is a talented actress and has two great web shows called Family Dinner and Just off Rodeo

They did want Lauralee Bell to return for the 35th anniversary celebration on March 26 but she back out! because it was only a cameo!

That was rather rude of her considering her history with the show, and especially that her parents were the founders of YR, and it would be a big disappointment to long standing YR fans, I would think.

I know Bill Bell involved Christine in a lot of topical storylines like date rape and sexual harassment. I mean she could of given something back to honor her father by at least being a guess star. I've heard some say Christine is boring but I always liked her.

Yes I think it was a bit mean of her not to honour her father. I liked her too but she annoyed a lot of ppl because she was always so perfect, always the goodey-goodey, she never did anything wrong, lol!

Why is she referred to as Cricket??

When the character was first introduced in the 80's -- her nickname as Cricket. Since she was a teenager it fit. But when the character grew older, Lauralee insisted that she tak eon an "adult" name - you can't be an attorney with the name Cricket.

@aussieguy34 No one went into why she was called Cricket. She was simply called that.
