@allhailpantera123 P-bass isn't a brand. It's a model type. There's a P-pickup near the neck; hence, it's a P-bass. Fender isn't the only brand that makes them; they're just the brand that stuck the label on them.

@allhailpantera123 No argument intended; just answering your question. I've seen numerous brand websites (Lakland, Schecter, etc) refer to their own basses as "P" models. You're not wrong, but "P-bass" has become an industry-wide term that refers to any bass with a P pickup in it. Much like Kleenex has replaced the term "facial tissue". It's just semantics at the end of the day. No big deal.

I just checked this out on two speakers systems. My larger system with super nice speakers reveals what’s going on. It's the backing tracks!! Sounds like Evan has a bunch of distorted sound effects put there on purpose like on his solo stuff. The actual bass recording is fucking rock solid, and I thought it was INCREDIBLE!!! Sorry boy's, but that the final word on that. Great job Evan!
