Hello Nick, have I missed something here??? To my understanding of tarot, as a reader also, Wands, (Staffs, Staves, Rods) are FIRE element related...not Air !!!

@jasydrumz There are many interpretations. There is not one singular system, or were you unaware of that? Some mythologies see the wands as fire beacuse they are made of wood and therefore store potential energy, but the wand also symbolises the writign implement and therefore a mercurial aspect. Also, do you believe in literalism or intuitive reading? I use the tarot as a psychic springboard and as such the result of a reading is based on the psychic reaction and not literal meanings....

@nickdutchtarot ..... do not be alarmed when the outcome of a skilled readers interpretation is different than that of the literal outcome of the cards. psychic skills are more complex then the results of reading card interpretation instruction manuals

Hello Nick, have I missed something here??? To my understanding of tarot as a reader also, Wands, (Staffs, Staves, Rods) are FIRE element related...not Air which is the suit of Swords, just as Cups are Water and Pentacles are Earth...I love your vids Nick, but I'm flummoxed as to your interpretation of the two of staves! If the chap is an academic, then Swords relate to the intellect and mind surely?

what type of spead would you use for a carrer reading nick?

@greenelf12 tat depends on the question and to a degree the circumstances. Possibly the celtic cross or a variation upon the celtic cross, but most liklley basic chronological spread. i usually use either a linear chronological spread, the celtic cross or an 8 card relationship reading. I change them a little to help me to answer different variations on questions.
