Ben and Michael are my favourite couple ever this just great i,ve been watching it from start to finish 3 times now but can never wait for these to to meet. I brought the book he gace michael off ebay it sits by my sofa, i know sad but i just love them. I,ve been with my partner 10 years and i,m also 41 now. @musicxmovielover I really don't think so, but it's been a long time since I've done the vid. I do think it happens in s2, that would be one of the reason he then wants to take steroïds. I really love them together. The script writers gave us something unique. You can start with the boysh appeance of Michael, who loves comics and there it is - the masculinity of Ben who looks like a super-hero form the comics. They are like made to be with each other. And gives-and-takes between them, the developement of their relatonship, the sacrefises. They just compleat each other. Perfect mathc.

I kind of watched QAF episodes wildely thrown together (started with eps from S.3, went on to a few eps from S.2,etc.) and the first time I watched S.1 and Michael with someone not Ben was just ...weird and kind of wrong. They're definitely my favourite couple!

Sadly, I haven't seen all episodes yet, so I have to ask: Where does that beautiful shower scene come from? Mickey's expression in that scene is so, so adorable, I want to watch it. <3

I understand your point, after having seen Michael with Ben, it's harsh to find something interesting in the Michael/David couple, but if you watch s1 first, you kind of like that couple as well. When Ben appears, it's like nobody else can be soooo right for Michael, it's so obvious, these two belong to each other.

After having watched s1, I feel sympathetic towards David, but I'm still glad that Michael ended up with Ben. Ben brings out the best in Michael and, as the series shows us, Ben needs Michael to catch him when he falls. They make each other strong, which is why what I love about them.

I believe Ben said "you belong to me" to Michael when he invited him to go to the Paul's funeral with him, s3 ep7 maybe, when he said he has stopped taking steroïds.

I love how they grow as a couple, you're right they are always there for each other, perfect match !

Both the music and the clips chosen just fit so well - they perfectly convey this sense of unconditional love and this closeness that Ben and Michael have, even through all the troubles they go through. And the dialogues audible over the music just deepen the impact... the sound of Michael crying with this music made me tear up, because yes, I believe that he would make a pact with God, if only he could.
