It does sound like a ricer and I'm not trying to bring you down. I have a 2012 Camaro 2LT and the stock exhaust on it sounds really deep and muscular. I think they modified the exhaust for 2012 V6s to sound better, but I think you need another exhaust to make it sound better.

If you read my original comment, I said that my STOCK, not aftermarket, exhaust has a more muscular sound to it than this aftermarket one shown in this video. As for the horsepower gain, do some research before you make any statements. Look at the Chevy website. 323 horsepower in the 2012 V6 and 312 in the 2011 V6. 11 horsepower more......

The problem is, people cannot get over the idea of muscle car/growling V8 sound. One has to look at the new V6 Camaro as more of a sports car than a muscle car, and indeed the V6 stacks up quite well if viewed as an affordable Grand Touring-type car. The haters would've given props to my father's LS1 '98 Z28 with the SLP, but the HP and 1/4 times really arent too far off with this new-gen V6 (soon to be even more powerful from the factory). Love it, and I will make one my next car!
