BTW, Reach is a planet, a human colony...It's the first planet that the Covenant glassed...The biggest human loss in the entire war.

It is where Dr Halsey founded the spartan project and kidnapped lots of people (including John; Master Chief) and put them in the spartan project...

As Reach was being glassed a ship (Containing Master Chief) escaped...

That ship was called...The Pillar of Autumn

Actually you are wron on at least on point. Reach was not the first planet glassed by the covenant, Harvest was. All the outer colonies got glassed before Reach. As for the biggest loss of the war, I'm not sure. I don't think the story is specific about that. I hope that answered your question. And I am the obsessed one. IMO, this game shouldn't be thought as happening just before the events of halo 3, but during the events of halo 2.

"The Rookie" as the new protagonist is called, is dropped into New Mombasa following the first attack on Earth (City level in halo 2) and you are there to clean up the remaining covenant. Was going to be an x-pac to halo 3 but its a standalone full length game now.

simple...don't be retarded and rush head on or you'll die. think tactical which is why i prefer halo ODST because if it's master chief people would just run in punch someone and shoot a few times...battle over. With an ODST you can't rush in or you'll die which makes the game better in my veiw because then players won't jsut rush in and kill everything...kinda like Gears of war 2 because with gears of war 2 you have to duck and cover Which is why i prefer gears of war 2 rather than halo 3
