  • Wow you just killed your creator...

  • we've got quite the dialogue going on here. That's a good thing. It's constructive to exchange thoughts and ideas. Especially when their positive. I don't feel so disenfranchised and hopeless.

  • well come to vancouver island and watch them skin every mountain for pecker poles and they load them all on ships and send them to schina no jobs for anyone , but the fallers truckers and boomers.. its disgusting

  • nice cut, how far did she roll? I made a side hill cut once and I gaurantee that log is still down in the canyon somewhere , was a bout 50 feet in the air last I saw it(no pun intended)

  • @maxhole2 but i think crazier fluctuations are riding on the back of some more profound climate trending.. i as mostly liberal i suppose, or middle of the road, HATE the EPA, for ruining manufacturing in this country... and leaving us with nothing but relatively obsolete service jobs... so western corps export their emissions (industry) to the third world, which we all inherit living on this seemingly more confined planet

  • Long reach undercut....my back hurts just watching it.

  • nice job. from sooke.

  • By Climate change i mean climate change, not seasons. Climate is changing, it is obvious : for5 years winter in my country is gone crazier and crazier. That's just what i see, no rocket science. I just wanted to say that Global warming should be treated apart, as another subject from Climate Change. These subjects are, like you say, dangerous terrains for debate. Now i don't give a shit about carbon hippies and such, i just realise that we live in a decadent world in its progressive decline.

  • Thumbs up if Mr.Van sent you.

  • That's called "double-cutting." Happens to anyone.

  • Now thats a log !

  • Critters love them clear cuts.

  • nice cuttin'

  • How Far did she roll nice sound log.

  • That's the steepest cut block I've seen on 'tube

  • Comment removed

  • u need wood yo build ur home? make ur cabinets? Make paper? Trim your powerlines out so u have electric? Now is it hurting u or doing good things??

  • No such thing as Global warming ! Which is why when we had 2 of earths coldest years , Gore & his band of idiots whiched their key words to "Climate change" HA ! BULLSHIT !

  • @maxhole2 Global warming might be a bullshit, but Climate change is another thing.

  • @Rhinoch8 by Climate change, you mean like Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter? Outside of that, the scientific 'experts' can't even figure out what the hell the weather's going to be a week from now, so why believe anything they say. It's all BS to promote the imaginary 'carbon credit' economy.

  • @Rhinoch8 Riiight and if the name changes again? how about climate religion!!!

  • You are trolling.

  • @Rhinoch8 you are deflecting.

  • @davetileguy Have a constructive argumentation, then... I'm opened to debate.

  • @Rhinoch8 Where to start, how about Y2K,Acid rain, hole in the ozone, swine flu,the comming of a new ice age (the late 70s) all bullshit phsudo science designed to scare people, you cannot get a wheather report more than a week in advance,No predictive model could POSSIBLY take into account all the variables, like Japan moving 8 ft would effect the earth wobble and Sun orbit, sun flares are not predictable,by any measure man made GW is a theory period it dosn't even meet scientific metheod criteria.

  • @Rhinoch8 Scientific facts are generally believed to be independent of the observer: no matter who performs a scientific experiment, all observers will agree on the outcome. WIKI I.E. Its all political.

  • @davetileguy What about a not-so simple and very intriguely complicated notion, when nobody agree with each other, everybody is technically right, and even politics and lobbies makes the thing worse. We aren't in a black/white world, but what i can say is that a society based on exponential progress can't go far with limited resources. So why go with this model of mass-consumption-capitalisic society, when we can save what's left for future generations. We are trying to save an already condemned

  • @Rhinoch8 model, trying and using different energies to feed it and hopelessly sustain it. Some people want to crash right in the wall and get everything for them before its too late, and others, like me, are trying to offer to people alternative ways of living longer with these limited resources that become renewable and sustainable. Im am no communist nor some kinda hippy freak, nor an earth lover. What i can see is that if we abuse these resources, there might be changes in a fragile balance

  • @Rhinoch8 This fragile balance is about humanity living on a planet. This planet don't give a fuck about whatever happens, the balance don't apply to it, it will go on. The danger is only for people living on the planet.

  • @Rhinoch8 Now, i'm not against logging. We need wood to build. What i don't like is the way monoplistic companies rule the world, using this stupid and failing American jurisdiction, occidentalising third-world countries to feed the progress. Its this occidentalisation that is to be feared. Don't stop your mind to what you can phisically see or touch. The world is much bigger and complicate than what i previously said.

  • @Rhinoch8 Thats a fair enough opinion but it's just that an opinion and mine and a lot of other peoples issue is that the schools and media are telling my children and all the sheeples that there's only one way to see things and quote "the debate is over" So a policy based completly on politics is being jammed down our throat with no disscusion,A power grab that effects my dirtbike my family farm the color I have to paint my roof trees on my own property basicly every fucking aspect of my life.

  • @davetileguy Haha, well you're totally right! I am willing to do my own role in playing a better world. I'm heading myself to be a "Bioarchitect". In my country, universities are ridiculously cheap (you pay your taxes and you get a 3000$ Phd, yes, 3k $ polytechnicum phd). Building a little "earth community", with a permculture farm, earth building and all the stuff, is what i'm dreaming of.

  • @Rhinoch8 Why don't all the people who talk conservation act on it? it's just lip service ,do you have an electric car? I support your right to buy one,I however do not want one,I'v been in construction for 25 years,I'v NEVER worked on a house with solar panels, why would my customer spend $100,000 on a kitchen remodel instead of green energy? lip service talk bullshit and trying to bend others to their way. Most tree huggers in Seattle have Ipe decks and cedar fences but vote Dem.

  • i thought this was on the island:)

  • The best saw for medium sized wood is a husky 390 ported/balanced/polished with ported pipe and a 33" cannon powerbar and a 8 tooth sprocket and 3/8 75 jg chain. Beleive me.

  • fantastic bear huntin there.

  • Good job, i liked my Husqvarna when i fell and bucked for the heli. just found it alot smoother.

  • I feel timber in MT. back in 66, 67,68 there's no feelin like the smell of the wood, the saw, then the fresh air. Sit on the stump and have lunch, look round it god's country. I feel timber up to 1989, a tree got me, broke my neck. [ NEVER BE TO CAREFUL ] A Stihl never left me in the woods. Good job [ Jipo ]

  • i could of done better

  • Its all about the stihl!

  • eh, most of the saws nowadays don't run like they should tippin26. Damn epa makes them put governors on the ignitions and they run like shit. I ended up buying aftermarket ignition from baileys for my huskys. Im a husky guy myself. Nice size tree gypsy.

  • that looks like a great job getting to fall those monsters all day long. How much a tree do you get?

  • Hey nice work ... That stihl sounds like crap though. You have to go husky

  • witch one:D they huskys are too heavy and less powerful.. STIHL-ms660magnum is a legend

  • couldn't agree more!!!

  • Missed your cut there guy but close enough.

Did you climb on top to cut far side down to bottom first? that way you cold of foolowed cut line and seen on bottom how far off you were. Wish I could still do the job you now have. too old and broken down. Once in the woods always in the woods. Enjoy your life, it is one lesser men will never know the truth of.

  • sweet
