Thank you for your comments, I almost bought a speedo, but decided I needed a little more boat under my fat ass. This Daiblo is my fourth Eskimo kayak,and second Daiblo. The frist three where burned in a yard fire. I miss my Gatino and Topo. Oh well. Hope to see you on the river, I look for eskimo boats. Look for me this summer on the New river and this fall on the Lower Gauley.
Good to see someone else using a Eskimo. I bought a speedo myself and absolutely love it. I agree the weight is not fun on a long carry but you cannot beat the speed. I also agree about the saddle, it takes some foam work to make it comfortable. That said, I'll never paddle any other boat.
@Gonwyld Hi, hope you are boating. I was on The New river this weekend and someone told me that eskimo was out of business. Have you heard anything? bert
From the cameras to the questionables..it all stays dry down the river. Just sealed the deal, getting one tonight!!
