@HLGFreeman Thats debatable actually, if you watch the documentary "Until the light takes us" it shows the origenal blackmetal as it were. Most of those guys fucking hated gay people. they even killed acouple. Gaahl is amazing but part of a completly different age of black metal, the one formed essentialy by the media. So i agree with you that its very narrow minded but it is infact part of the black metal genre's history like it or not.

@AngryMoblin1881 : I don't have to watch that documentary (I did and it was ok) to understand the Norwegian scene in the 90's as I was around when the whole 2nd wave hit. Bård Faust decided to kill a sexual predator who happened to be gay. It was an act of misanthropy and a way of proving himself to his peers. These guys were obsessed with death and snuff movies. I don't believe they were concerned with sexual deviancy as Euronymous himself was quite depraved.

@GasHass völlig egal ob er jetzt schwul ist oder nicht, es braucht mut um sich in diesem genre zu outen. black metal ist meiner meinung nach überhäuft mit typen die keine ahnung vom leben haben und ihren pseudosatanismus ausleben. zudem hat blackmetal nicht nur mit dunkelheit, tod und all dem zeugs zu tun, es geht darum sich selbst zu verwirklichen und für sich und seine meinung einzustehen. du lehnst Gaahl wahrscheinlich ab, weil er nicht "true" ist, darüber kann ich nur lachen!!

@markdes100 schwulsein hat eben einen bitteren nachgeschmack. vor allem in der stark maskulin-heterogenen rockszene. kommt auf jeden individuell an, wie er damit umgeht. ich persönlich kann so einen gen-defekt nicht wirklich tollerieren und da geht es sicher vielen so. das heißt jedoch nicht, dass ich "hass" solchen leuten gegenüber empfinde. man geht sich eben aus dem weg. schade drum

natürlich ist es eigenartig wenn man einem Schwulen gegenübersteht und selber hetero ist. Dennoch kann ich pers. gut mit Homosexuellen, so lange sie mein Desinteresse am gleichen Geschlecht tolerieren. Ich kannte mal so einen und hatte keine Probleme mit ihm. Aber ich denke mal das hängt immer vom Charakter des Menschens ab.
