  • I agree with bobz122. I think to get a really authentic restaurant type mint sauce it must have finely chopped coriander leaves in as well.

  • @jackali007 you have to buy a jar of mango chutney, which is very thick and has big pieces of mango in it, and put some in a blender with a little water and blend it until smooth. buy chili sauce in a bottle - you can get various strengths of heat - chili sauce is used not only in Indian food, but chinese, mexican and caribbean/westindian and Jamaican food too.

  • @jackali007 The chilli sauce my local curryhouse makes appears to be a combination of the onion chutney and the mint sauce made here add some fresh coriander and blend together until the onion is very fine then add chilli powder lemon dressing and red colour to taste.
