@Semp3rLucky Actually the immensity of it all makes it more sensible that the universe itself is an all-powerful force at work. The intelligent beings are the creatures this OI has created, i.e. you and I. (OI = Organic Intelligence)
allaboutscience(dot)org is a hoax, a farce. It's intended to win over gullible ignorant people into creationism. It inserts various hints and suggestions making you think that science is flawed.
Well, it's not.
And this website is a mirror of the "allaboutcreation" website.
How disgusting. it's a further effort to try to erode science in order to make way for creationism.
Well, creationism is NOT science and it does NOT belong in schools.
But this same guy denies the theory of evolution which was also discovered by the same scientific community. Do people actually believe that the overwhelmingly vast majority of scientists today are part of a huge conspiracy aimed at discrediting the belief that everything came to exist by a divine supernatural being? Or do they believe that all these scientists are somehow mistaken because they're just not very bright? It just doesn't make sense.
Your fact is a twisted fairytale pushed by a bias mainstream for a buck (if not just stupidity); A fact that you evidently buy along with your Koo-Aid.
Just about everything presented in this video was discovered by scientists. Accepting these scientists' findings as truth is pretty easy for the guy in this video so it would seem.
Put in proper perspective, everything presented was discovered by man. Those things are testable by any rational man to be observed as fact. Evolution is immersed in guessing and based on pure speculation, a far cry from being fact.
It seems your understanding of the theory of evolution and the evidence that supports it his greatly limited. And to alter your opinion on the matter would be virtually impossible because everything the scientists present as evidence someone like yourself would deny it's validity. For example: transitional fossils.
You shouldn't assume so much based on so little, you could end up smelling like the fools you get your so called facts from.
My understanding of evolution is quite adequate. It doesn't take a majority of mainstream scientists to know BS when they smell it. A majority of rational people agree evolution is a pure guess at best.
Transitional fossils do not exist. What does exist are pictures of life in various forms that still exist, if not extinct, basically as they do today.
I've heard people give many examples of transitional species. How can you say there aren't any? It's like you leave the room whenever they mention a transitional species, then come back in to proclaim there aren't any.
Since your knowledge of evolution is so good, why don't you give an example of a species people say is a transitional species, and tell us why it really isn't. That should be easy.
I've heard many people give examples of the bogeyman, how can one say there aren't any?
Science is about proving presented theories with evidence; Transitional fossils are a presented theory.
The burden is on the claimant to present the proof. You can't - what you'll have in every case is a species that exists today, if not extinct, or a simple case of mutation. There's your "happy reality" brother.
"I've heard many people give examples of the bogeyman, how can one say there aren't any?"
So now you're saying there is no such thing as species? We're not talking about something you can't look at. We're talking about easily found evidence of different species people all know about.
I noticed after YOU made a claim, you try to turn the burden of proof away from yourself. The proof of these transitional species has been presented. The fact you pretend they don't exist just makes you look bad.
An animal that is alive today or extinct? What third choice is there????? Oh wait, or a mutated version (ie, "evolved).
So it appears that you do see evolution as happening...or is this evolution stuff just all a big conspiracy among all those edumacated learned folks who read too much and over think stuff?
A wise man once said - "Know they self" - and I do - I was named after one of the greatest and wisest kings - and I must say I've found it befitting. And yes, many of my respectful brothers and sisters are very intelligent and educated as well.
Your unsolicited and childish statements brought nothing compelling to the table - you only mock like a brutish little boy - grow up; Think, Reason, Repent.
The first two I do often. By ignoring such things as the evolution of the horse, you appear to be doing neither.
How can there be a rational discussion with someone who so clearly chooses not to be rational? You reject the work of many educated and intelligent people who have studied the evidence for many years and think you know better, how is this deserving of any respect?
You merely name call, mock out of ignorance and post nothing to which I haven't already addressed with these other uninformed little boys.
Facts: Dogs bark; Pigs squeal; And there are no transitional fossil; Further more science already has stated (rationally) fossils do not prove evolution nor do they need fossil to prove anything. Fossils only prove that a life form once existed. Don't be stupid - it shames humanity.
You sound like an ultimate skeptic. You can just say everything is wrong and reject every bit of evidence, but that isn't intellectually honest. You need to give reasons why you think the evidence they give isn't evidence.
At least we agree that these species are either living or dead. That's a start.
Skeptic? Hardly - How can I reject evidence that doesn't exist. It is the unfounded conclusions about fossils you seem to have that I reject. I gave you the obvious facts. It is those who take a theory and call it fact that are intellectually dishonest - in fact are quite delusional. God has a more compelling body of evidence than "Evolution".
If you wish to help other see clearly, start by "removing the plank from your own eye" brother.
That is truly amazing. This is why I've always said there may be life out there billions or trillions of miles away from Earth, but we an Earthling humans will never know it.
Short, simple, effective, excellent. Proper perspective can cause a reevaluation of previously perceived illusions. Man should recognize his immensely puny status when considering the Creator of both cosmic & microscopic.
Just so you know, I'm certain your videos make a positive difference with many because they're good enough to do that. They remind me of "Learn To Discern". 2 of the brighter spots on YouTube.
what do you think about life emerging elsewhere in the universe? allso if we came to contact with such civilisation and it had compeletely different creation myths what would that do to your faith?
just red sagans first contact so i cant think about anything else than super-evolved beeings roaming the space lanes somewhere in the galaxy.
The improbability of life on earth approaches infinity. The idea that the existence of alien life-forms (however misguided their belief system) would make me doubt my faith amuses me briefly.
Then I go back to thinking about how sad I am that you hate my friend Jesus so much that you'd rather burn in hell eternally than accept His divine olive branch.
There exist plenty of different "creation" myths here on planet earth. One of them being evolution. Yet, there are plenty whom are not swayed from what they know is the truth. So lets suppose extraterrestrials came around talking about they having ancestral Amoebian forebearers and they considered themselves to be full status apes, descended from merely ape-"like" creatures. Crazy right? What would they be thinking, that their ancestors devolved, incrementally decreasing ETism until they're apes
evolution doesnt aim to create human-like creatures from an ape-like ancestry. if we met a highly evolved beeing from another planet it might not resemble anything we have ever seen.
according to todays estimates 99,9 % of life forms that have lived on earth have went extingt. if you think that god created all of those forms 6000 years ago in a 7 day periode then with the rate of species going extingt and no new forms emerging there shouldnt be any life left on earth soon.

The immensity of the Universe makes it completely nonsensical to assert that it was created by a single intelligent supernatural being, a.k.a. God.

You're lumping ALL scientists in as a single group that agrees all every issue? LOL! No wonder you're confused.

I'm not lumping anyone anywhere. I'm simply stating the fact that the vast majority of scientists support the theory of evolution.
