  • hih .. so many Škoda´s :P

  • very nice 5*

  • first car is Czech Porsche ... Skoda 110 R .. oujeeeeee

  • that green thing was DKW Munga

  • Nice to see all these old cars still going, I would rather have some thing like these than a modern car as they are so different!

  • think these cars are quite interesting. We've never had them in the UK except for Skodas ladas and FSO's.

I'd love to have drive of those big old Tatras with the weird front ends.

Although there is a Wartburg driving around near me.

  • CCCP

  • CCCP= Classic Car Club Perestrojka.. !!!

  • eastern europeans have no taste whatsoever

  • Sorry, i cant see cars! I only see junk...

  • so what is up with 1 minute 26 seconds.

  • FSO Polonez - Polish car :-)

  • How you think it would cost to bring Russian, say, Lada Samara to Indiana? Thank You Very Much!

  • I'd guess about $3000-$5000. I paid about $4000 all included to get a Trabant from England to Los Angeles. This covered shipping, port charges, importation taxes and paying someone to handle all of the paperwork. It did not cover any land transport. I dropped the car off at the port in Southhampton, England and picked it up at the port in Long Beach, CA

  • Thank you!

  • You can bring ladas from mexico or canada

  • hey dude you can bring ladas from canada or mexico!

  • Tatra 603 have a V8 engine, and its so beautiful!:)

I'd like to buy a Trabi, but I would buy a veteram Moskvich 407. Ohh, I ove these cars! *****

  • Super video, that's a parade I would take part of any day! Great video.

  • Q: What's the one that looks like a big old 1950s Rover?

    A: That's a Bristol

Q: the wartburg had plastic duroplast panels did it not, the 353

A: No, the Wartburg had a steel body. The Trabant had Duroplast panelling though.

  • Thanks for answering the questions. Which is the Bristol? At what time in the video?

  • The Bristol is the big black coupé at 00:34 (very brief) and 03:57.

    There is a Rover P4 at 01:30 and the olive green Jeep-like car at 01:10, 02:15, 03:40 and 04:00 is a (West-German) DKW Munga.

  • Indeed.. The only steel exterior panels on the trabant was the hatch on the Universal/Combi.. :-)

  • Is this a time machine?

    G(B)DR----(lol)

    Unbelievable unbelievable,

respect to that crazy island (*****)

  • What's the one that looks like a big old 1950s Rover? (Shortly after the man in the green Wartburg).

  • What time in the video do you see this car?

  • 1 minute 26.

  • tatra 613 is absolutely uncomparable to other cars...the best car ever made in east block

  • the wartburg had plastic duroplast panels did it not, the 353

  • Only on Estate models. The rear wings and trunk lid were made of Duroplast. The sedan was all made of steel.

  • Are you talking about the trabant here??

  • skoda, tatra,skoda, skoda,trabiu

  • I didn't know a Trabi could be had with a stand-up hood ornament. See around 1;05. Not a factory accessory, I'm assuming ...

  • Yeah, that's not factory original. You can buy those from LDM tuning (ldm-tuning dot de)

  • Have a weak point fore the Skoda rapid hope to own one some day.

  • Man this took me back!!! I grew up in Hungary, now living in the U.S. I haven't seen (or thought about) these cars in a million years. What a treat. Thanks.

  • Then you should also watch "streets of tabor". Loads of old skoda's..

  • More info! The little military vehicle that bergerdmi couldn't identify is actually from decadent West Germany, a DKW Munga. But it's rather spartan and also two-stroke, so I figure they thought they belonged.

  • For those who are interested some infos: You can see yellow Czechoslovak Skoda 110R, blue Skoda 1000MB, Skodas 120L&130L, man in a green east-german Wartburg, beautiful one black limousine (also blue) is czechoslovak Tatra 603, vinaceous limousine Tatra 613, also white delivery van czechoslovak Skoda 1203 and other van east-german Barkas, vinaceous VAZ Lada 2105, orange VAZ Lada 2103 and many Trabants..

  • nepovznic - dir glitch mir Bulgaria. sto

  • I used to have a Skoda like the ones here. O had a blow out on the M62 southbound, span 360 degs, and ended up in the Hard shoulder. My alternator went on the same trip.

  • Thanks for this vid. I really get a kick out of all those wacky cars. Got to have a Tatra though. I've only seen one in the U.S. It was at a museum in Nashville TN.

  • Our Tatra at a museum?:D mums chief has Tatra 700 in his garage...thats very good car:D

  • Thanks for that, but it'll have to remain a pipe dream!

a trabby tho, thats more realistic..maybe one day when I get the space to keep one.

  • Those tatras are amazing looking machines and I'd love one. a shame their plans to break into the UK market came to nothing. what were you driving, a trab?

  • Yes indeed. That was my Trabant. Her name is geurty. Yes I love those Tatras, too, if you can't tell by my babbling. If you are seriously interested in a tatra, I know of a 603 for sale.
