I used to have speed transforming competitions with my friends when I was a kid... I think I managed to transform Bonecrusher in about 8 seconds. Powerglide too... but then they became _really_ loose, so I quit that game! :p But the speed of transformation depends entirely on the type of Transformer. Transforming say Masterpiece Megatron is an entirely different thing from transforming Runabout. :p

Those are all the other Bumblebees that I had at the time. I've since acquired G2 Gobot Bumblebee but I'm still missing G2 Bumblebee and Action Master Bumblebee. I had a reissue Goldbug, but I kitbashed it into another Transformer. As you can see I have the original Goldbug so the reissue was expendable. :p

There are deluxe versions of both 1970s and Concept Camaro Bumblebee - and there are variants amongst both versions.

I must have a diffrent version of the toy because on mine it falls off but you can just slip it back into the grooves who knows

Most of them can slip back easily from what I've heard - and as I said, my second Bumblebee's one slips back in easily too. I think I lucked out with my first Bumblebee that just had a defective panel. But it seems like a freak occurence... most of the 08 Bumblebees seem fine. :)

Was that English??? On the 1st Bumblebee I got the piece came off and despite excessive force I couldn't get it back on. On my current Bumblebee the same piece has come off once (despite the super glue because it sits on moving parts) but it goes back on easily. On my first toy the piece was moulded w/ an oversized tab but on my 2nd one the tab is OK so it can be re-inserted if it comes off.

No. Deluxe size Transformers don't tend to have finger articulation (it's even uncommon for Ultra/Leader class TFs to have finger articulation too).

You've covered all the Deluxes that appear in the movie. I dunno if you're interested in collecting the 'expanded' movie figures but if you are I'd recommend starting with Arcee; she was meant to be in the movie (appears in early versions of the script) but was later abandoned - she still appears in the prequel comics)

Autobot Ratchet is a Voyager Class and typically the larger and more expensive price points sell slower than the smaller/cheaper ones (Deluxe, Scout, Mini-Cons et al), although the larger figures are produced in smaller numbers because of this. But yeah, boxed figures usually have a longer "shelf-life" than smaller/cheaper carded figures.

Another great review goktimusprime! I like the darker paint job on this figure. I purchased the Ultimate Bumblebee from Argos and was disappointed with the light yellow paintwork, but overall it is a good toy.

I went into TRU and there were no new Transformers but I saw a whole palette of unopened Transformers cases so I asked the store manager to crack open a case of Deluxes and I grabbed a Bumblebee. When I went back, there were still plenty of Bumblebees there because they'd just finished putting up the new stock on display. But when I went there a day or 2 later they were all sold out.

potatoindisguise: the cartoon you're talking about sounds like Transformers Armada/Energon/Cybertron (aka the "Unicron Trilogy"). I was satisfied with Megatron's alt mode. The tank mode was already taken by Devastator and a giant gun would just be ridiculous in a live action film. But who knows, I'm guessing that Megatron will return in the third movie (don't ask how) and by that stage he may acquire himself an Earthen mode.
