  • Hahaha - this is brilliant. Well done. Gives me goosebumps, and made me want to watch the film again - despite having only just watched it days ago.

  • Nicely done!

  • Nice stuff. This really brings/sends me back in time.

  • I like it how every good science fiction movie has a crazy person who turns out to be right.

  • This movie is silly. Three fingered beings are suppose to be able to engineer these highly structured sophisticated space machines? Not with their frail bodies and lack of proper articulation due to having only three fingers and being built like a 7 year old. Also, if they're able to function in the same environment as humans, that means they must exist in the same environment , and there's no way these beings would survive.

  • @timcp1 you must be a creationist

  • @timcp1 damn u just leaving negativity in all these videos .

  • @timcp1 Piss off, fly boy. Ever heard of suspending your disbelief. its one of the best movies ever made. Three fingers trashes an entire movies value?

Heres my two fingers (and I don't man i want to tickle your balls)

  • @teamcrumb Two fingers...up in a peace sign...thanks. No, three fingered aliens just shows reality, they can't build those spaceships. They lack the muscle mass of a even a 15 year old male or female let alone the type of muscle mass that those men and women posses who assemble such flight craft as Fighter Jets...so the strength of such craft to travel through space would have to be far superior and stronger and take a lot of articulation and physical ability to engineer as well as build.

  • @timcp1 no peace signs for u, two fingers r also a sign of victory (i'm thinking chubby ole Churchill). NO ONE GIVES A RATS HOLE whether the film is realistic with regards to the aliens. The film is about a man getting the fuck away from a miserable life into one he believes in. And if we're going to get all "but in the film" then whose to say all of the various types of alien came out of the ship . . . some were small and one was long and skinny, maybe there was a chunky one hiding . . .

  • @timcp1 two fingers is also a victory sign , fly boy. U hate jews and think the holocaust was right cos 'they' went against god's wishes and yet you r obsessing about the credentials of an IMAGINED alien physicality. The bit when they come out of the spaceship is so touching, its a leap of faith . . . and heres you and your school report saying "must try harder' . You want to criticise stuff that isn't about God so you try and trash the imagined reality of a hollywood movie. What a duffer.

  • @teamcrumb Interesting...I "hate Jews" I am a Jew. What little demon is whispering in your ear?

  • @timcp1 - tim are you off your meds again?

  • Comment removed

  • @timcp1 - why are you trolling every video for a movie that you think is silly?

  • @TheFreshPeddler Because people are believing a lie, which is a very sinister demonic battle. Hollywood I know will often take a non-fiction account ,add their own creative abilities and turn it into fiction entertainment. But people actually believe in these beings capability. So "silly" is in reference to the accounts of these aliens, but it's much more sinister and evil. For another take on the subject take a look at a video on here called UFO's: A Worldwide Control System.

  • @timcp1 - you have way too much time on your hands. shut up with all the demonic battle bs. honestly i think youre about the only one taking a movie too seriously. let me guess, you live somewhere near the bible belt dont you? something in a movie meant to entertain is not a lie. if i were to call you a rational human being, now that there is a lie. if you have a problem with something, then dont watch it, its that simple. i dont know why u waste time commenting on a movie that u find silly.

  • @TheFreshPeddler Well, to you, it is only entertainment. I've spoke with people who believe that even though this is a fiction storyline, the film represents more than just a fiction concept. Same thing with the X-Files, there are those who watch it like you would Indiana Jones and those who watch it believing that there is some truth to it. I'm very rational. I don't live in the "Bible Belt" either, I'm a Jew man and believe in Yeshua as the Messiah.

  • @timcp1 For one. They actually WERE 7 and 6 years old girls acting as the aliens in suits. Two the movie was from like 1990 some like they know. Three there ARE planets outside the Galaxy that probably DO have life on them. Plus how would you know? Did you search out there? Nope.

  • @PlootTehMedic I realize they were actors what I'm saying is that this film is popular because even though the story isn't based on a true account people believe in aliens and so they watch the film. However, these aliens portrayed in the film are as people have said they've seen them i.e. those you see are referred to as the "grey type" are not capable of designing spacecraft. Check out UFO's A Worldwide Control System here on Youtube, and you will see which beings are far more capable.

  • @timcp1 Well maybe they use their minds to create machines. They are more advanced than humans so they do not rely on physical matter, and maybe they are so intelligent that they can adapt to any environment.

  • @RetroJenny "maybe" this and "maybe" that can go on and on. Yet, when you read the eye witness accounts of these beings, they are grey, frail, lollipop-headed, with elongated fingers and bug eyed. Obviously they do rely on physical matter, as they have to use ships to travel. And if they could "adapt" to the environment, then they would need to adapt to this environment of Earth. And their physical features are not adequate adaptations for Earth.

  • @timcp1 well they have an advantage of having three fingers: since we have 10 fingers, we use a mathematical system with a base around 10, their base is 6, making math faster for them. And consider that they have evolved past the need for work capable bodies since the technology they have does labor for them, much like us, hmm?

  • @HeartlessGorre If their minds are so great, then why would they need to use a base of mathematics around how many fingers they have? In order to evolve past these frail physical features to get to their tech capabilities, means they at one time didn't have the intellectual capacity, so they would have to work and yet, if they started with 3 fingers and a frail body, they would have died out a long time ago. They wouldn't have never evolved to the frail three fingered body in the first place.

  • In case anyone needed reminding that Close Encounters was made during the disco era... :)

    There simply is no God.

  • This is the best CE3K video montage that I have seen on YouTube. The editing, scene selections, spatial choreography of the images that map back to the light board -- it is a beautiful compilation of elements from the film. Well done.
