edison is a great guy, humble and yet stupidly good. this set up is mimicking his.
do you have an audio interface? if not try ASIO for All. should be a free download. that will take care of some of the latency issues.

no, it's not m4l, even though i was using that for a while. it's all done using ableton, midi assignment, and clip follow. send me a message.
