This is awesome. My only problem with the new album was the clean sound it has on CD. I think the album is a great evolution in their sound and ideology. Sounds great on vinyl.
I disagree and fuck this what is real and what isnt real black metal shit cus "real" black metal died long time ago with bathory ,celtic frost etc etc , satyricon makes real/pure music and thats what counts for me
I doubt they make money from making this type of sound, it might not have their old sound, but bands do evolve. Also, they are not trying to emulate the sound of a band that makes money, they are simply playing their shit, and it might not be as good as their older shit, but as an artist you can't always top your previous masterpieces.
