16-85, 16-106, 16-200 are all piece of shit Lenses, as they all come with minimum F-STOP of 5.2 and above, the picture will be slow, blur and not has good of a shallow depth of field vs a fixed portrait lens. These lens are for kiddies.

The working distance of the Micro Nikkor 60mm is about 2.5 inches (at 1:1), so you'll just block the light if you go close enough to an object.

It is cheap, and it is an entry level macro lens. I wish Nikon would continue making 70-180mm macro lenses.
