im building a very similiar integra hoping for about same power as u just with 60-1 turbo built b18c-r motor lsd typer trans and was wondering if i needed to upgrade my axles? what axles u using ? stock axles with slicks? and nice wire tuck looks great but alot of work
@4g63junkie stock axles are fine. there cheap, and give a defenet weak point. if you get super strong axles you could possibly brake something in the tranny. just preload.
@lindseyhunt1090 yeah i never thought about that defineatly dont want my trans to break axles are really cheap lifetime free replacement at autozone lol /
@4g63junkie hahah i got the lifetime free replacement at napa hahah lol. also that was on stock suspension 2.2 60ft lol. awfule. i just ordered new coil overs and a gsr tranny. should run 11s no prob now.
@lindseyhunt1090 / my stock 95 gsr trans wasnt lsd i think its optional on the gsr im actually thinking of running a ls trans i got and putting a quife lsd in it but the lsd itr trans came with the motor so figured why not lol but ls gearing is supposed to be better for boost ive been told
@4g63junkie there is lots of variables. ls tranny does have decent gearing, but with a huge turbo you could fall out of boost. also ls tranny with big slick makes your gears way to long. my car will do 180kms in third reving to 8800 with big slicks lol. ls tranny also sucks really bad at high rpm shifting. if you plan on reving your car high stay away from it. ive blown up a couple ls trannies. the gsr and type r tranny have dual synchros and shift a lot nicer.
@4g63junkie what is a good idea though if you do have a couple trannies is running the gsr or type r 1st through 4th gear and put the ls 5th gear in. its way better for high way driving.
