How do u make ur dough do u have a vid on that? But I love u ur adorible and those hot pockets r adorible but any ideas on the bread dough tho thnkx ?
hi, i am a big fan. i love your vid/recipies. u are #1. its called a "rolling pin" hope this helps. also i wish there is a way u can advice me to how to get a food saver (vac sealer) + mason jars. thanks for sharing your knowledge. u are a great mom &housewife! regards from sunny sri lanka.
Just made this tonight and they came out really good. We filled them with ham and cheese. Next I'll use a cheese more like velveeta. We used yellow american and it melted in a sloppy goo, albeit a good sloppy goo :-). Made 3 shaped empanada style like in the video, and 3 shaped liked hot pockets from the store. They were a bit bigger than we wanted so next time we'll separate the dough into more than just 6 pieces. Definitely a winner for us, thank you for the video!!
Thank you so much! I'm a college student always looking to save money. plus i use them to make a few extra bucks here and there if someone forgot a lunch that day.
an idea i learned from working a pizza parlor...when making more than one pocket, place a small piece of each of the toppings ON TOP after you seal the edges. that way you can tell at a glance what is inside!
I like your name on here too. "everyday food storage." were you on the committee at all for food storage from church? have you done a movie on food storage? if you have, ignore this. I also do food storage. I havent done so much because we are military and packing a ton around is hard for us. Do you have pointers for military families on food storage? I would like to hear it.=)
i often make my own hot pockets, but i still like to watch your movies. i watched one of your movies where you were making french bread. It looked good.=)
What a great idea! I love the idea of getting everyone in the kitchen to put on their own toppings. I also like the idea that I can use some whole wheat. I love your videos - thanks very much for posting!!

hot pockets for dinner? thats more ghetto than waffles
Komsan6063 5 months ago
@Komsan6063 I doubt that a mornay sauce with aged swiss is 'ghetto' and I have used that along with shredded turkey in these hot pockets.

@Melanievf Ok, i was joking but if you wanna be all butt hurt about it go ahead.

@fairyglade Hot Pockets are a brand name, not a type of food. Hot Pockets themselves are calzones.
