Hello allgoo19, Yours is a very true and interesting point and I sometimes think about all of the people from the past who have gazed upon this mountain during its various seasons. Thanks for sharing! -Kurt :-)
I can see where the Japanese would revere such a beautiful mountain and believe the Gods would live there!
I have heard that there is a walking tour that starts at the bottom and as you walk higher up the mountain there are places that will imprint a marking on a walking stick you take with you, and where you reach the top you have a wonderful walking stick with all the markings from the stops on the way up the mountain. I would love to walk up Fujiyama some time just for that!
I've gotta agree with you. I remember as a 6 year old kid flying over it and my Dad telling me "That is Mt. Fuji". I never heard of it before and never forgot it.
making the trip to see this is soo going on my list of things to do before i die. right below catching a squirrel with my bare hands. thanks for the vid
Hello PaperJunkie, After all these years of posting on YouTube I think that your comment above is my all-time favorite! There is something about the image of trying to catch the squirrel which really makes me smile. Thanks for sharing! -Kurt :-)
What a nice way to start the morniing. The place is so peaceful & I hear birds chirping happily.

the clouds that surrounds it only makes it look even more magical.

It looks almost surreal. Then again, I thought the same thing of Colorado, probably because the midwest is full of... flatland :)

Japan's oldest tourist attraction.
If we get to meet all the ancient Japanese, samurais and older, there's one thing we can share the topic.

This is probably one of the best things that you can get by living in Shizuoka. Mt. Fuji looks much better with a snow cap.
