I am SOOO happy to see this interview! I really like the Golden Girls and have grown up watching Rita Moreno. Without fail, I've LOVED everything she did EXCEPT that episode of The Golden Girls. Everything about it was just so unconnected.
Last line of that episode and the entire season..."Promise me you'll never die." HUH?????

that episode was just on yesterday on LIFETIME...and she was right...they took all her indivdiuality away...tried to make her cookie cutter...she's too special for that...and the writing was BAD
