you can scavenge the wood (not steal), if you keep you eyes open there is wood laying around everywhere as trash. anything over 4' work good. building takes practice, start small with a little kicker. designs and instructions are on google.
omg im so jealous for u! i want one of those. i NEED one of those. but im too poor to buy the wood for it and i suck at building. any idea how to make a cheap one? and a little smaller because im a beginner.
i built it from scrap lumber and only paid for the masonite layer (100$), i work in an industrail park and would gather old 2x4 and panels, and patchworked it together.
Im an idiot, I used to have one just like that, a little biger because my bro used to use it.... when my bro stopped skating I was too young to skateboard so we took it apart! im so mad
yep, 7 mins, one part is a single 3min+ run, all shot in the same session, theres about 20 diff tricks, and if he pulls them over & over, thats called consistency
yeah but dont show them multiple times just show them once or twice. thats what people want to see. but they dont have time to sit and watch this whole thing.
the area underneath is sandy, but i did place small cement bricks under the corner points to keep it secure. i also used a gallon of waterseal on it. its doesnt rain here a lot, so rot is not that bad...
It was under $250. I only bought the top layer of masonite new, everything else was recycled. there is lots of scrap wood around if you look. anything 4'+ is good, and can be scabbed together underneath the final layer. its a small ramp but fun..
ok cos i live in australia it does rain a fair bit an i am thinkin about makin a 16ft wide by 24ft long so yer i dun wanna make it all and find its gonna fuck up lol so do u jst waterproof the ply onli ?
making one just like It, but an actual halfpipe cost me £378 just for the wood !!!! but it's worth it
