The fact of the matter is that UTEP never gets any respect from anyone because they're not a big money school like Texas or Duke. They are an incredibly talented team each year but are always snubbed when it comes to exposure. Whether the officials made bad calls or not, I dont' know. What I do know is that I respect Tim Floyd for standing up for his team and having passion for them. It's sad that this kind of officiating even exists. GO MINERS!

I am an official and just to let people know, officials are in charge of the game. Coaches are not allowed on the floor unless the official says so. Floyd was begging to get tossed. He knows how it works, he's been coaching long enough. His behavior was inexcusable. No one is allowed to threaten anyone verbally or physically. Floyd lost his cool, and should be punished for it. These coaches are also supposed to be role models for these kids too.

Some of the people commenting on this. Did not see any of the game So shut it. Tim Floyd asks his big men to attack down low at Morrow so they can get him in foul trouble. Morrow draws two well called charging calls. Floyd is mad because of the them not calling a foul rather a charge during the first half and was not happy about it through out that time which triggered him to go mad. The reason ECU got to shoot so many free throws was because they got into the double bonus early, so every time they got fouled they got to shoot two. And every time ECU went inside they were obviously fouled. After the UTEP coach got warned to stay in the box he stood right on the line and stomped his foot at the ref. That's why he got the first T and he says he was sitting on the bench when he got it, BS.

Well I was actually at the game and the referee kept telling the coach to calm down yet he refused. Yes coachs get angry, yet they need to learn to calm down when asked by the officials.
