  • i celebrated like america scored a goal in a soccer match at 5:43.

  • they're just spamming energy attacks, where is the real combos, the actual skill

  • guile play is always lame, never mind who is playing.

  • Dagger G is sick man.

  • Guiles Recovery after Sonic boom is just od. One minute he here next minute ur getting pelted with flash kicks to the face

  • The ending looked like a flashy attempt from Dagger G to me...

  • Dagger G=best Guile player

  • @LiangHuBBB Not at all. In America maybe (even if i think EMP Dieminion is at least as good as him). Ace Eirin is probably the best Guile in the world.

  • i don't know any stupid player like this guile, he plays well but he can't do easyiest things

  • @qqquake HAHA.......you are so fucking clueless

  • @qqquake dagger G is like one of the best if not THE best guile player in america

  • @qqquake <----- i wanna seen this guy dash ultra LoL

  • Geez, at 0:48, Dagger_G knew that the focused sweep would activate his ultra and he was ready for the difficult motion of focus -> ultra. Talk about mentally prepared.

  • Soon, I will learn to GUILE my opponents like this Dagger G guy... Well, I'm gonna try anyway XD

  • man hsien is a beast

  • I've recently come across this Dagger G player, and I gotta say he is really good. I'm really impressed with his Guile. There are rarely any great Guile players out there...which is good because to see someone play a low-tier character and use them to their highest potential really shows the diversity in SFIV. Characters likes E. Honda, Guile, Blanka, Fei-Long, Rose, etc., rarely are used to their full potential by people who know how to actually 'play' the game. Good stuff!

  • Both the matches were so damn close.

  • 4:10 - God he's got some faith in his charge times.

  • 3:00 - complete vortex.

  • gee what a fun match..

  • you obviously can't appreciate street fighter at its finest

  • total uphill battle for guile, but dagger stays in the fighter, hes the reason why i started playing guile

i saw dagger at evo and that was it

he is amazing whit guile, hopefully guile gets tweaked in ssf4

  • apparently capcom are giving him a combo into ultra and are trying to make the game generally more offensive so hopefully guile wont need to turtle so much and we will se more guiles wining tornaments

  • So Guile is a Turtler?

  • Why would you FADC a sonic boom, the move got practically no recovery time anyways

  • Frame advantage

  • Cause FADCing a projectile with very little recovery time will give you a huge frame adventage

  • Usually when I see people doing that, it's to build meter without actually taking damage, or to get in close quickly when normally you wouldn't be able to.

  • hsien vortex's like a champ.

  • that match is rly good..

  • are u kiddin me u call this intense spammin fireballs?

    damn....

  • @HipHopMaster555 lmao WHAT? thats like calling sagat's TIGER scrubercut underpowered

  • This match is just too damn good... SSF4 if Guile is upgraded... watch out! Dagger G's gonna mop fools left and right!

  • This is the third vid I've seen of Chang where he doesn't use a single deamon. Takes some fair skill to win with a character who cant connect ultras like they are going out of fashion

  • Uh... Guile?

  • True, both first rounds were so intense I didn't even notice they were heading into a time over!

That FA dash Ultra by Dagger G was seriously awesome (how do you even do that with Guile? Jeebus), too bad it didn't work.

  • Comment removed

  • its tricky, when you do the forward motion for Guile's ultra, you basically have to dash fast enough to input it as just one forward movement. something like that.

  • a lot of people hate time overs. this match shows how intense a time over match can be. this has to be one of my favorite matches of this year.

  • I think Dagger G was outplayed himself straight up. in my mind guiles strength is defense and he made too many mistakes trying to get in when he didn't need too. If you watch those matches in every round Dagger has a life lead at some point. Instead of putting the screws to him and playing defensively he keeps playing like he's the one behind.

  • You might want to watch this again for times that he tried to use cr.hp against his different demon flip options. It traded or whiffed more than it landed. Akuma needs you to chase him hoping get you to lose life trying to get to him. Nothing wrong with getting into a fireball war with Akuma in this matchup. Guile has less tools in moving forward than akuma does in running away. But then again compared to these guys I play checkers and they're playing chess.

  • That is such an uphill battle for Guile...major props to Dagger G for that impressive showing.

    Hsien is a beast.
