    Joker: WTF?

  • swag

  • Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?

"Of course, it was in november 1......HNNNNNGGGGGGGG!

  • 12 people have danced with the devil in the pale moonlight,

  • I still love this movie, but there was always one thing that bothered me even as a kid. "I'm going to kill you." Never sounded like Batman to me.

  • ^o^

    " 'scuse me"

    <_<

  • " 'Scuse me."

"Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight?"

    (KABONG!)

  • The coldest part of this whole movie. Love it

  • keep pressin 5 xD

  • Michael Keaton is the best!

  • What was that supposed to mean, "You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight"?

  • @eaglesfan226 In an earlier scene the joker was forcing a woman to dance with him at night in the moon light, so the joker basically was calling himself the devil, Bruce used his words afterwards, the way Bruce said it basically means "I'm batman and I'm gonna kick your ass at night"

  • @eaglesfan226 he just likes how it sounds....

  • @eaglesfan226 in this movie, joker(even as jack napier) would say that to people he's about to kill. He said that to bruce's parents when he killed them in this story arc, so, yeah, retribution lol

  • R.I.P keith Ledger but his joker is no where near jack nicholson's. this is my favorite movie... of alll time... late 80s early 90s this was all I watched!!! its was all about him & Michael Keaton...

  • @YoungH1983 heath not keith

  • @YoungH1983 yup i totally agree...michael keaton was the best batman and nicholson the best joker

  • Did he just sound like Kevin Conroy

  • Also, I dont agree that Nicholson or Ledger played the best Joker...that goes to cesar romero...heehee...

Seriously though, they were two completely different takes on the character, IMHO, both done brilliantly in their own ways.

And yes, this is pretty much the greatest moment in big screen Batman history. Love how Keaton delivers that line.

  • Why is it on ever Batman '89 page, '89 fans seem so insecure and threatened by Bale/Nolan and always constantly throw their names around in insult and comparison to keaton/Burton. When you go to Batman Begins or TDK pages, fans are confident and enjoy their masterpiece. If Batman '89 were actually better, there wouldnt be so much hostility and insecurities. Just look at most of these coments!

  • I was always surprised parents got so pissed at Warner Bros. because of Catwoman in "Batman Returns" but didn't give a damn that Vicki Vale pretends to blow the Joker to distract him.

  • Excuse me you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight?*BAM*

  • Batman Insatiable Hunger is now on youtube! Look it up!

  • Pause at the very end. LOL

  • Yoouu IDIOT!!

  • I did research and figured out who killed Batman's parents!

  • Batman: Have you ever danced qith the devil in the pale moonlight?

    Joker: WTF?

    (Batman punches Joker's face)

    Vicky Vale: OWNED!!! XD

  • It still kind of sucks that they made Batman a killer.

  • @DrGordon31 he didn't kill anybody on purpose though.

  • @DrGordon31 i dont think so because all the people he killed deserved it , i would have done the same. It's no different than sentencing someone to death in my opionion , because they deserve it. Joker deserved to die.

  • @Camthemovieman1 If someone outside of the law kills someone who "deserves it" and is "evil", they would be considered a criminal and not a hero. You cant take the law into your own hands. Plus, that would inspire other individuals to kill anyone who "deserves it" because its okay, Batman did it, he's a hero.

  • @KevsHardLemonade i would say that any action that you take can aspire people to do things that will get themselves killed. But , its better to eliminate a bunch off criminals and have some civilian blood on your hands than to do nothing. I think that no matter what you will be a criminal trying to do what batman does killing or no killing. But the bottom line is you are doing what is nessisary and just so i dont see what is so bad about that.

  • @Camthemovieman1 Watch Batman Begins. It came out a few years ago. It perfectly counters that argument.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Okay. There is really no point to this argument because it will go nowhere. And my videos do not represent who i am , but thanks for going on my page anyway. But , i think that you are not as bad as a criminal because you are trying to make things write and not do so to help yourself. I believe that what is write is a very simple consept that is easily misunderstood. But , i know that we wont ever probably agree on this. Good talking to you as well.

  • @Camthemovieman1 Murder is something that changes a man completely. Its not something casual like in burton's movie. A murder spree of criminals is still a killing spree. Bloodlust only grows. Cops try to avoid killing & is only a last option in a life or death situation. & theyre deputized to carry out law & order. If everyone killed whom they thought deserved it, there would be no order in society. Order is what Batman principally stands for. Without that, he is basically the joker.

  • @KevsHardLemonade well if you find a moral standard , that essentially says that you must deal with this justfully because no one else will. If i had to kill some one , dont get me wrong it would be hard. But , the joker deserved to die and I think that if everyone killed who they wanted things wouldnt be good. I believe that it would be good enough just to have one person who knew what they were doing because they are trying to protect others and establish obvious justice.

  • @Camthemovieman1 One person who knew what they were doing? Like who? Batman? So the law should appoint someone they believe knows what they're doing, to murder criminals who "deserve it". Why does the Joker deserve to die or any criminal for that matter & who gets to decide that? You? That's why we have laws. So that people dont go by their own standard of what they THINK is right. I'm trying hard not to offend you but by what your saying u sound very young. Like not even teenager young.

  • @KevsHardLemonade okay im not trying to be immature or like a trypical kid i understand where you are coming from. But my point is its actually really obvious what is write and wrong and what those who do those evil acts deserve. If there sorry forgive em and move on. If there not punish them to try and help them learn. But , if they are just murdering manics then they must get what they deserve: Death. I dont get why people dont understand that. If you kill you sould be killed its simply just.

  • @Camthemovieman1 Just remember this: the ends don't always justify the means or the cliche: two wrongs don't make a right. Killing in self defense is one thing but cold blooded murder of someone who is guilty or not is murder and murder is punishable by law and an irredeemable/despicable act of violence. Its not up to a by stander to cast decisions on who is guilty whether it's obvious or not, its up to those appointed by the law. I studied this in college.

  • @KevsHardLemonade and you trust the government...lol

  • @Camthemovieman1 okay , let this be the end of it i no longer desire to aruge into nowhere , i guess you understand this. It was interesting to hear your points. But , now i am glad that i have the pressure of having to argue of my shoulders and can move on. I am not an arugeing person anyhow , because you usually they get no where. But , i enjoyed your points and i how you did mine. Goodbye and Thanks you.

  • @Camthemovieman1 You're going into completely different territory here. But I will say this I'll trust that over a random person going around murdering people.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Well, i just saw your profile and I was on the mark. Youre 14 but your not entirely poorly spoken for you age. Kind of like I was at that age. I mean no offense by that but as you grow older, you will gain life experiences and more knowledge. Its natural. It was good talking to you.

  • @DrGordon31

Not only did this movie make Batman a killer, it also twisted his motives. By having his parents be killed by one specific criminal, it gives the impressions that Batman didn't become Batman to protect the people by figthing criminals, but to exact vengeance on whoever killed his parents. The fact that this person turns out to be his arch enemy, whom he kills in the end only makes it worse. Batman was supposed to be the caped crusader, not the caped avenger.

  • I wonder how do you fake that because the dong is perfect timing and the ouh that Jack gives is perfect timing too

  • Yeah. He told me you're gay.

  • @Dubzoomember Hell yeah! Marvel/DC is the shit.

  • @effeweewetoob

    Glad someone got the reference.

  • Bale is good but Keaton is the best Batman

  • damn

  • One main thing I love about Keaton's Batman, when Keaton is Bruce Wayne, he's Bruce Wayne. When he turns into Batman, he turns into a beastly mysterious night creature with a cowl that generates many cool and intimidating expressions. Also, due to the restrictions of neck movement, it helped make Keaton looks even stranger/unpredictable/weird/AWESOME as Batman whenever he made those sharp 180 turns to look at you. Still the bad ass he was in 89, IMHO.

  • Rushed line = terrible D:

  • That's Batman

    Bale is a sissy

  • Watch my video on Batman. Uploaded not long ago.

  • Yes, Yes I Have...Twice.

  • 10 people danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.

  • Jack Nicholsons joker made me shit myself as a kid!

  • @abisivepoo really he made me laugh, but he was scary at times

  • @abisivepoo george clooneys batman made me almost commit suicide

  • @MsShellshock22 yeah...

  • heath was a WAY better joker - only cuz he's hot with and without the creepy make up

  • Excuse me. Have you ever danced with the Devil in the pale moonlight?

  • @blackien5 yes i have

  • @goombamario1 lol

  • @blackien5 yeah

and he diddnt even call me again = (

  • @wiggles1the1ninja Better luck next time, I guess. lol

  • @blackien5 (punch to teh face)

  • Talk about bats in the bell free.

  • greatest line of any Batman movie!!!

  • <3 J O K E R J O K E R J O K E R <3

  • Love Batman! Look up "Joker's message to Batman" or click on Light Talk's channel to watch.

  • Keaton and Nicholson both make a better Batman and Joker than Bale and Ledger

  • does anyon e know what the ballroom musci is called when he dances with her?

  • Michael Keaton is way more threatening than pussy Christian Bale

  • no matter what they do they will not fine a better line for batman. batmans line will alwase be exsqes me ever dance with a devil in the pale moonlight.

  • Michael Keaton was the best big screen Batman, but Christian Bale was the Best Big Screen Bruce Wayne.

  • @VinnyMonster1 Dude you have it backwords, ROFL.

Michael Keaton was the best big screen Bruce Wayne, but Christian Bale was the best big screen Batman.

  • @mavman1994 Umm, no, YOU have it ass faced forwards. Michale Keaton was the Best Batman on the Big Screen. Christian Bale sounded like he had a bad cold or something.

  • Lol, he punched him before he could make a witty comeback.

  • hell yes, great moment.

  • Batman: Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

Joker: Yeah. He said you were gay.

  • Just fricken epic man, what else can i say?

  • somehow it seemed like Burton's Batman had no problem killing anyone...lol..also he was more ruthless i may say

  • the only problem i had wiv this movie is that he breaks his primary rule, not to kill, he just goes ahead and kills

  • @Godzilla370 well...also batmans greatest villian dies in the first movie.... that was yeah...loved this movie when it came out,but after watching it all the time and analyzing it. its just OK to me.

  • @Godzilla370 how is that his primary rule? I've never heard that rule.

  • @kayddle

    youve never heard that rule!

in modern day comics and movies, he wil never kill, its the one line he will enver cross

  • @DanteMcSparda But Kevin Conroy the best batman voice EVER!!!

  • Batman sure knows how the introduce himself to strangers. Start with question, punch, and threaten death.

  • Micheal Keaton is better than Bale.

  • @DanteMcSparda

There is only one true Batman:.......

    BRUCE WAYNE!!!!!!!

  • Gentlemen! Let's broaden our minds... Lawrence?

  • I think he totally f**ked up that line. It should have been way more ominous. I'm just saying.

  • Between Batman and Star Trek, my movie franchise "timeline" shredder is pretty much full up.

  • While I really liked The Dark Knight - the story was not as "original" as Batman Begins. I also think that Christian Bale is a great Batman, maybe even as good as Michael Keaton. However, there is no comparison between Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger. Nicholson just can naturally play that part well.

  • @hogger129 Batman Begins was almost a frame by frame copy of Batman: Year One, both Christopher Nolan movies have taken source material from Frank Miller's Batman.

  • Just imagine... Christian Bale as Batman would talk to somebody with his annoying voice like that, than somebody says "Excuse me..." Than Bale turns around, Batman /Keaton stands in front of him "Have you ever dance with the devil..." POW! hahaha that picture is just too funny, even i actually like Bale more than Kilmer and Clooney:-DDDD

  • There's Joker thinkin' he's gonna get a blow job.

  • Keaton's delivery of that line was perfect. Why do people keep on comparing Nolan and Burton's films? They're nothing alike, the films can be equally enjoyed. Why can't the hatred towards a particular Batman film go to the Schumacher films?

  • Best.....punchline..EVER! Haha...get it? "Punch" - "Line"? XD

  • I grew up in the 90's during the ear of 4 simultaneous Batman movies. Ever since birth, I've been a Batman addict. He's (in my opinion) the best superhero, and have seen countless movies, and TV shows featuring him. I've also seen the 2 most recent Batman movies. And no matter how many they make, Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me.

  • hahahaha you ever dance with the devil with pale of the moonlight what?? i just like the sound of that

  • Christian's Bale batman was lacking something probably this raw darkness of Tim Burton's mind.

  • @Cypeq Keatons Batman was lacking that stupid raspy voice of Bales Batman. That is one major reason why Keaton is better.

  • @REZBLUE22 haha you understand, just listen to the voice and you will know who acts best. and that keaton offcourse. fuck bale

  • changes in the batman movies came through the years...christopher nolan made a more realistic batman.. like imagine in a modern batman movie that the voice of batman was the same as bruce waynes...well sure no one would find out that bruce is batman if it was that all citizens of gotham were retards xD some like the classical style...some want it more realistic but look it that way...so what?! nolan made batmans voice deeper, stop complaining and enjoy all the batman movies

  • @TheTerannon no we could all deal with a different voice....but the way bale's voice sounds "especially in TDK" just doesn't sound right. if it were a voice that was threatening and dark without trying to sould like a guy with something in his throught then we would be satisfied.

  • @omegashinobi the image of batman was based on the batman from the 60s where he talked in the same voice as bruce, but were far from the 60s and it´s really time to let go of that batman, batman returns had also kept that silly thing with batman and bruce having the same voice, if nolan had made a voice that was just darker or lower than the bruce´s voice people would complain " omg wtf is this, who would not recognize that he´s bruce wayne he´s just talking lower"´nolan took care of the details

  • @TheTerannon I don't necessarily disagree, but Bale really needs to tweak his Batman voice....because the way it was in TDK really did grate my ears everytime he spoke in a forceful manner. He sounds fine when he's speaking softly, but when he raises his voice all I can think is "PLEASE...somebody get him a Ricola!"

  • @razorfett147 as far as im concerned i don´t mind if batmans voice is unusually grundy because the character is developing and im happy that there´s some change going on, As in any new superman, batman or any other superhero movie, there will always be new additions to the hero and lets be clear we aren´t frozen in time so changes are completely normal

  • @TheTerannon

Actually Keaton lowered his voice as Batman in several scenes in both Batman and Batman Returns, even sounded different then normal...In this scene (Burton's) Batman has pretty much stopped giving a damn because he's pissed and is planning to finally get revenge....

  • @TheTerannon and ruined Batman's larynx.

  • @TheTerannon Actually, both Michael Keaton and voice actor Kevin Conroy don't use the same voices most of the time. They lower their voices considerably (or raise them when talking as Bruce Wayne), and I think the effect works better than "grrr grr grumble gargggle". I love Bale as everything but the voice of Batman; he's hilariously bad at it.

  • @TheTerannon

Considering fans still cream themselves every time Kevin Conroy says he's going to voice Batman again instead of nameless rank and file voice actor number 10,302, I think it's safe to say people don't complain about older Batmen's voices.

It's one thing to disguise your voice, it's another to make it sound like you have throat cancer half the time and bark inaudible grunts the rest of the time.

  • @Redfield224 as i previously said, as new generations come..changes are bound to happen, the image of batman as he was in the 80s or 90s is past, if youre willing to make a movie that is based on older images then do it...well see how others will react, that also includes his voice,as you may know technology develops as we speak (including technology being used by police to identify someone) so nolan did the most logic thing, compensate it by making batman use better gadgets to disquise himself

  • @TheTerannon Nah, I remember reading batman comics in the early 90's and he used the same tech back then to change his voice.... nolan just stuck to the 90s comicbook version which i think he did a great job, but theres no question Michael Keaton did a better job playing bruce wayne he had so much more depth than Bale.

  • @omegashinobi Agreed. I thought Bale did alright with his Bat voice in Begins, but it really got away from him in TDK. He doesn't sound menacing, just more like someone who's trying too hard to sound.........hard. Some of his lines in TDK were almost funny.....and that's not how it should be.

  • Hahahahaha. I love how Batman Begins and TDK fans don't feel threatened and decide to scream insecurely on youtube. the film was corny. I watched it after watching batman Begins and couldn't believe how dull and unintelligent it was. But then again it was made to help little kids get off.

not for adults with inquiring minds.

My biggest regret is how misleading all you senior citizen's comments were about this "movie".

  • @regulator619 I second that. The new batman movies weren't that bad to be honest but there were scenes that just took the utter piss, like the scene where the joker kills a guy by just cutting the side of his mouth? Or the fact that theres more blood in the harry potter films than the batman ones, somebody tell me theres something wrong with that. Harry potter being more hardcore than Batman. Keaton is the man!

  • @clarkgun How exactly did you "secnd that" anyways. I was saying that the old Batman movies are corny. PS cutting the side of a mouth cant easily pass someone out.

The guy is already under stress from when the blade is in his mouth and joker starting at his face. The trauma could easily tip him into unconciousness and even death,

Allow me to simplify my comment.

The new batman movies are intelligent, keaton's movies are boring.

OLD GUYS like you, try to diss the moives on youtube. Thats all

  • @regulator619 Haha I must have mis-read your comment man , i thought it was a Pro-Keaton comment, was abit high. That's fair enough. I'm not old though I'm 21.

But about the guy you say passed out, wouldn't you think a guy like him who runs around with tough guys, i think he worked for the mafia too, wouldn't you think he would be a little bit tougher than to pass out because of having his mouth cut?

  • @clarkgun Have you ever been under sooo much stress that you sweat and feel woozy? Well add the pain of having a deep cut from your mouth. Its your body's way of protecting yourself from the pain. Thats how people get concussions and such. Besides people passing out from fear happens on tv all time. In all fairness, i understand how nostalgia gets sparked up in peoples heart from the movie and they want it to be the best of all time. Hey, I felt the same way about pokemon but now i know better.

  • @regulator619 Yeh im not that hung up about it, they were good films and i prefer them cause they weren't aimed at 12 year old kids. I get what your saying man people can pass out from that shit, but this guy, played by Michael Jai White, the guy from blood and bone, he's a total bad ass, If that's what the scene was intended to portray then wouldn't they just have hired a less intense person to play him? It's a silly scene anyway I'm just nit picking.

  • @clarkgun Woa man, in no way shape or form is the Harry Potter films more hardcore than the Batman films just due to not much blood in the newer films, but there is a lot more death in the newer films and overall it is more violent in general, bodies with their faces sliced, two-face's appearance etc., anyway there wasn't much blood to begin with in this film, when the Joker get's hit in the face with a ricochet, blood on Batman's face and the Joker's face.

  • @britshpsycho - The Batman (1989) and Dark Knight and Batman Begins are in no way geared towards young kids. Harry Potter was never intended to be either. In fact, if kids actually paid attention to the plot of Harry Potter and what was going on, it would scare the shit out of them. Harry Potter is not geared towards kids at all. It's just that way because of the people who market the films trying to sell the stuff to the kids. I've always liked HP from the first movie and book they made.

  • Worst line ever. he said it too fast

  • @GmRb79 He's mocking the Joker. The pacing fits.

  • Christian Bale was alright except for that ridiculous Batman voice. Val Kilmer was always my fav Batman

  • my girl found that too funny

  • bale is a fucking retard. keaton is ok.

  • @Mercenary78 He's more than ok

  • Kevin Conroy is Batman

  • This can never be beaten. Keaton wa shands down, the best ever Batman. He captured his darkness and sortof calm sense around the character. Nicholson done a serious yet murderous Joker compared to Ledger's agent of chaos. One thing, what does this mean exactly?

  • @DanteMcSparda michael keaton = (whisper) im batman

    Bale= IM BATMAN ARGHGHGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

  • @AndrewDcon More like Bale= I'm Batman and I have lung cancer. lol

  • @AndrewDcon

Bale sucks... and Nicholson is the best Joker! Nicholson for President!!!!

  • @AndrewDcon Lol it is totally like that.

  • @AndrewDcon AM BAMAAAH!!!

  • oh god im batamn christan bale played a good bruce wayne but not a good batman he could have just had a normal voice

  • Best Batman Michael Keaton <3

  • jnoiuniuonu

  • No other batman actor can pulls off this line like keaton without making the audience kringe.

  • Keaton will always be THE definitive Batman, and Nicholson will always be the greatest Joker, It's a shame Keaton's career never got higher than this movie, he's great in everything he does.

  • batman's like "do you ever dance with the devil by pail moon light"? and boom!!! gives joker whats coming to him lol

  • @DanteMcSparda ADAM WEST IS BETTER THEN EVERYONE!

  • PWNED.

  • @DanteMcSparda I had my hands raise but when you said that I put it down.

  • "Why are you all wet baby"?

  • @Razersun and @cheapseats12 what the smeg are you two talking about?

  • i think in the next batman they should put ozzie in with him,

    BIT HIS FECKIN HEAD OFF

    lol

    :P

  • Wow. Gay scene.

  • @Razersun why did you get a boner?

  • @cheapseats12

    Wow. Gay comment.

  • Yea that's what I thought lol!

  • You a homo?

  • No I was implying that you are! But that's ok, we all respect you and accept you for who you are! Maybe it's time you accept yourself! hmm? Take it easy buddy, now get out there and find that man of your dreams lol! But seriously, get out there!

  • Where you at? I could go for a BJ. Interested?

  • Sorry dude, not gay! You will have to look elswhere, sorry! But good intiative though, you are on the right track! Keep looking, I'm sure you'll find a man for ya!

  • Why so serious?

Because I dance with the devil in the pale moon light

  • Ima kill you!

  • I'm the batman.

  • Now that's a real bat-cock-blocker. Dear god bats, he was going to get head!

  • Youuuuuu IDIOT! You made me, remember?? You dropped me into that vat of chemicals! That wasn't easy to get over. And don't think that I didn't try!

  • Nice recital
