I made some depending on how diluted your Ammonia is, mixing iodine crystals will result in Nitrogen Triiodide as little as a couple of hours to as long as several days. To quicken this, I slightly warm up a flask, pour some ammonia solution in it (you can get ammonium hydroxide at any store) and put a bit of iodine crystals in it. The warm flask helps dissolve the iodine (as iodine can sublime even at room temperatures!), Store until you see a dark black and yellowish residue anddryonfilterpapr

not sure how they would test it as they often do such tests on lead blocks and steal plates how u would move it to the area plus no explosives expert would be insane enough to make 100g or so of it to test.

If you don't know how to make it you shouldn't try either. NI3 can detonate by its own weight.
