it 's not that she can't read it that everywhere you go there are peanuts. She can't tell if she's in a dark theatre if someone opens peanuts. She can't go to the grocery store and know if ahead of time they have an open bin on aisle three! She could constantly be walking into danger but the dog can smell it way before she gets to it.

humans can't tell wether a product contains peanuts? maybe if they learn how to read they wouldn't need assitance from an animal.
