When i was a kid back in the 80s there was 2 wrestlers that scared the hell out of me. one was Abdullah, the other was Ivan Koloff, many years later i met Abby, for an autograph, when he shook my hand, and started talking to me with a smile, it blew my freakin mind, he is a great guy, one of the most kind people i have ever met. I also met Koloff, he treated us like long lost friends, hes very kind and a great guy also. They are not crazy mosters at all! lol
@ClassicRockfan79 Friend of mine met Tully Blanchard and Dusty Rhodes after a match in the NWA. He tried to get an autograph of Dusty, but Dusty was rude to him and blew him off.
Tully stopped and signed the autograph and my friend said he was one of the nicest wrestlers he ever met. And Tully was one of the best heels around. Go figure.

A friend of mine in Georgia said that Abby used to stop in a convenience store in her hometown whenever he passed that way and always had time to talk with the fans and sign autographs.
