  • The Smart: For people who dont want legs after accidents

  • SMART car with DUMB FUCK in it.....

  • I love people who assume but don't research, lol.... I feel AND am super safe in my car, I get great gas mileage, saved a good bit of money as compared to other vehicles- shows that Europeans still have us beat in the brains department, I'm guessing...

  • Lmao stupid car

  • Sorry,

My life is way to important to me. I would never drive a smart car. How could anyone ever drive that on the highway and feel safe? If you get into a car accident at highway speed the chances of it being lethal would go way up.

  • Meanwhile, the elite drive in huge armored several ton luxury behemoths, and tell you you're the one bad for the environment who needs a go-cart with an engine...

  • Comment removed

  • Just think, that Mercedes is half the weight of a Suburban and that is why i do not think that the Smart car should be in the US.

  • If I got a penny for every pixel in this video. I would have 2 cents.

  • Would everyone stop saying that this is a safe car because of its f-ing rating? It is not safe! The rating means that It is only safe compared to a car of the same size. That does not mean it is safe overall!

  • WHICH FLAVOR POP TART DID YOU FILMED THIS WITH?

  • Lets see a Smart car vs H1 Hummer!

  • That smart car is officially a dumb car

  • not so smart now, huh?

    :)

  • Death trap

  • I can tell you one car i'll never buy ;-)

  • never new nintendo had a camara for the original gameboy color

  • look at what this video is a response to

  • That's the original version of the smart car. The 450. The new one, a 451, crashes better. The owner of that smart car would have survived the crash, even if the car bounced off.

  • That looks like my toy car when it hits something, and why waste that benz?

  • Smart is not a Car ....

  • the smart is the american g-wiz so i bought a table

  • You spin me right round, baby, right round...

  • I would not like to be the one being tossed around on the street like a wobbly football. Bigger cars please.

  • Hmm..a bit unsettling to see, but if the structure holds, you get tossed around a bit, but you survive. And it gives the occupants in the Benz, that just hit you, something to watch whilst waiting for emergency personnel.

  • @bigvirgotube Not quite true. The structure could be intact and still the passemngers would be dead. It's a question of the g-forces the human body can sustain. Look for the video titled "Smart Car Crash". Watch the longer version. There is a shorter version that conveniently (dishonestly) omits the bad news. At the end of the video they finally come to the point. The structure is intact, the passengers are dead.

  • @kpdsza You make a valid point, kpdsza, and yes that's missed--G-forces are also being initiated within the center of the car as well as the outside of the car. The car gets thrown from the outside, and the passengers get thrown around inside. And if the passengers come in contact with a hard surface at the right velocity...

  • breakdance!

  • OWNED!

  • I had one of those when I was a kid, but back then it was called "Little Tykes"

  • which pixel is the smart car

  • Just another good reason to not buy a smart you don't have a very high survival rate with this car.

  • The Smart car, bringing back Darwinism one idiotic hybrid enthusiast at a time.

  • Which pixel was the smart car?

  • @KenanVideos

    HAHAHAHAHAHA...what a brilliantly crafted statement

  • @CuriousLilFella its not origional. no top comments are these days.

  • @crackerstolemybike :( No one told me

  • @KenanVideos the small yellow one that turned into 2 pixels

  • @KenanVideos hahahahaahahaahhh...

  • @KenanVideos the big one

  • That was a FAIL.

  • If you even pay attention to it...does nothing to the little car...yeah it flipped...but did it cave in? No. It maintained its shape. Looked pretty safe for such a small car.

  • @wiggz123 dude it took out the whole a arm along with the suspension an i bet it crushed the rollin chassis, looks like it even went through the firewall

  • @wiggz123 it is very safe... my bestfrien has one and that car saved her life recently when a fool ran red light and ran straight into here... yea the car was totaled and flipped god knows how many times, but my friend WALKED out of the car with just minor scratches!

  • @wiggz123 Think about where the inertia is transferred if the car doesn't compress dipshit.

  • @thestratepimp The car is too small to compress...if it did you would die for sure. Dipshit.

  • @wiggz123 You sir are an uneducated fuck. Have fun driving your smart car lol.

  • @thestratepimp Lmao...Im more educated than you ever will be. Dont get embarrassed.

  • That's pretty fucking tough I don't care what people say about SCs It just took a 30ft flight like a champ

  • Perhaps this is a safer option than a motorcycle for some.

  • if i had a dollor for every pixle i see, i would have 1 dollor

  • image a hummer against the smart XD

  • Looks like a bug hit my windshield

  • Google, "Smart Car Death WLOX" and read the article. You can stand up for them all you want but in the real world, you die.

  • Fing smart cars shouldnt be street legal,

  • due to shitty quality, i cant see what car the silver one is

  • @XYZMARI0 i think that it`s a mercedes.. i dont know...maybe klasse e

  • @dragoscorca class c? dunno

  • @XYZMARI0 I don`t really know the mercedes cars models. I got a Dacia Logan

  • @dragoscorca i hasnt got a car, but my bro has a mini

  • @XYZMARI0 cool.

  • for this quality ,this is a 1KB video

  • @dragoscorca lol

  • lol

  • this thing is A LOT safer than people think..its essencially a giant roll cage on wheels

  • @thegreatcb7 You're right about it being a 'roll cage on wheels' Germans know safety. But the whiplash and injuries from being tossed around like that wouldn't be something I would want...

  • @thegreatcb7 Only at low speed collisions. At high speeds the lack of compressing in the frame results in increased damage to the occupants.

  • @thegreatcb7 WHICH ISNT SAFE YOU FOOL. NO CRUMPLE ZONES = 60MPH - 0MPH INSTANTLY = DEAD

  • never ever buy a smart unles you like doing back flip in a car

  • driving lunchbox....

  • Ping Pong, anyone?

  • The Benz wins!

  • after watching this i dont think that i will ever buy a smart..

  • NHTSA tests around 30 MPH. Run it at 60 MPH and repeat your statement on its safety record.

  • The Benz costs shit loads to fix the Smart you can get replacement parts at any Toys R Us

  • all I want to see is a semi truck crashing into one of these. Thats all.

  • @Autovomatic i already have

  • @Autovomatic HeHe.....dont you mean "rolling over" the Smart car, crushing it into an 18 inch tall liberal Obama supporter?

  • @TheDolphinsfan1966 not true at all. They have less overall mass, that silver car dominated it. Less kinetic energy to kill you, therefore less crumple zone needed. The crumple zones themselves are some of the best in the world and the smart car's cage will protect you against most things. I saw one crash at 112kph at the passenger compartment was fine.

  • The Smart car may be rated as a safe car however, THEY DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLIP THE CAR IN THE CRASH TESTS BY IIHS. MOST CARS DO NOT GET FLUNG IN THE AIR LIKE THE SMART CAR. IF THE CAR BECOMES AIRBORNE BECAUSE OF A CRASH, IT COULD FLY OFF A BRIDGE. let's see what the crash tests rule out if the Smart, i mean Stupid car is dropped 20 feet off a bridge.

  • @quikdude30 What percent of the highways are bridges? You are saying that it is unsafe because a freak accident could happen. Drop a Smart car on its roof from 20 feet up, drop an h2 on its roof< what do you think will happen.

  • @tjohn6041 let the h2 run into the smart car =]

  • god i hope evrybody that buys a smart car dies. not just the ones that crash but all of them.

  • Nothing "smart" about this car. So I saved on gas and now I'm dead. What a trade.

  • Comment removed

  • Did you notice that the wind shield was not even broke on the smart car?

  • @n3dno The smarts car structure is very stiff. On the other hand this means a lot of force is transferred to the occupants...

  • @tjohanson

Watch some other crash test videos of this car. Even though it rolls, the body of the car acts like a cage around you, protecting you.

  • @SaturnEternity thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard. You don't want a rollover...so in an SUV its a good thing then???

  • @tjohanson

A smart car isn't an SUV, dumbass.

  • @SaturnEternity let me guess, you're one of the morons who bought one?

  • @tjohanson

Let me guess, you're one of the morons driving around in a big gas guzzling hummer? Right?

  • @SaturnEternity Audi A6, and you FAIL.

  • @tjohanson

THE SMART CAR CAN ACTUALLY PROTECT BETTER THAN A BIG SUV. OR ANY OTHER CAR.

P.S BE SURE BRAIN IS IN GEAR, BEFORE ENGAGING MOUTH.

  • @SONYMAN915 Oh really? Maybe you should check out the IIHS test where they crash a Mercedes C-class and a smart car into each other.

Even a moderately safe SUV or larger car will outperform the smart in most scenarios; forget about one that's a top pick, then the smart has no chance. There's no getting around physics.

  • Owned.

  • uh huh i would rather be in the car that didn't flip over! How can you call a smart car safe after that? It wasn't even a small suv that hit that little piece of shit!

  • @nickchirco Though the car rolled the first thing that would be looked over is the cars integrity which is remarkable for a smart car. The drivers compartment never ever collapses unlike some rather larger cars. Plus the would have to read the data returned back from the dummies about there experience with just how there bodies faired. If there story promises good health is guaranteed and there were no serious injuries the smart car wins. So it seems it keeps its occupants alive so bravo smart!

  • wheeeyyy the grey pixels killed the yellow pixels!

  • Everytime we see a smart car we say, where is the rest of that car?

  • @xXMATTPHILLIPSXx yea, I have a Smart and while it's a solid car I can't help but feel like I'm driving a Nerf car.

But really, I feel as safe if not safer then I do in some other small to mid sized cars.

  • why the hell did they crash a piece of shit into a S-class benz??? !!!

  • @comptongameLA smart car is made by merc, so i guess its a crash test for both cars, saves time i suppose

  • @skaterbelicus i know ;)

  • It doesn't matter that the driver compartment was mostly intact, you can't take a human body and have them travel 30mph in one direction and then instantly 10mph in the opposite direction. Your internal organs would rupture. I would much rather be in a larger car, they went from 30-10 but stayed traveling in the same direction so the impact on the passengers is much less.

  • dead if u were in that smart or maybe u was't feeling too good after that ride d: ?!

  • @karozans, Smart Cars are actually SAFER than larger vehicles. A Smart car is esentially a rolling Roll Cage like a stock car has, and it doesn't budge- it actually activates the other vehicle's crumple zones in an accident. I would much rather be in a Smart in an accident than a truck, SUV, or van, many of which don't have to follow the same safety regulations this car does... and BTW, I know this because I own one and have researched it greatly :-)

  • @MrVanMan311 It is unsafe because of just that, the "roll cage" as you refer to it doesn't budge. There are no crumple zones to absorb the impact, the occupants take all the force, ever heard of blunt drama?

I do understand that they couldn't include crumple zones into the smart just because there was no room, but that is what makes it less safe. Don't get me wrong, it may be a safe car, but ONLY IN IT"S CLASS. Overall it just falls short. You are taking a chance by driving it...

  • @mattg889 I meant "blunt trauma" my bad

  • @mattg889 I would take a risk driving any car... I'd be safer in my Smart than an SUV any day of the week. If it's not you're cup of tea, so be it. It is mine, it's survived two pretty decent accidents, and it and I are still rolling. Boo-yah, lol...

  • @MrVanMan311 haha, you think your safer in your smart than a suv? ok, you keep thinking that, lol...

  • sweet pirouette at 15.5

  • the only reason i think ud crash a msart car is because a bigger car doesnt see you or u fall asleeep,or someone elses car crashes into you,kuz being so small its going to be almost impossible to crash

  • @smartdriver1000 THANK YOU finally some one who dose there home work XD videos dont show the drivers seat after the crash if they did ud see its all intact :) smart cars rule

  • THAT WASNT SMART LOL

  • Yeah this car probably is safe when it hits cars of the same size. Put it up against an F350 Super Duty and see how safe it is.

  • lolololololololololollololoolololololololololollol

  • that was the 1999 smart. they had some problems with the balance of the car. you try that with 2000 + smart and im quite sure it would be very different

  • @TheDudleyheathens so true and tell that to mvadinan540

  • While it may pass NHTSA tests with good statistics, observe how the Benz sends the Smart flying-- literally airborne. The vehicle is just too light weight to stand up against most cars on American roads. In a NHTSA lab all that matters is the occupant survival from the initial collision. On the road, when your car gets flung through the air, you may land in oncoming traffic, impaled on a pole-- or over a cliff. Statistics rarely tell the whole story and should be evaluated, not accepted blindly.

  • OMG! No! No! NO! I'm not buying that piece of shit car.

  • aaaannnd your dead!

  • what a stupid car..

I wonder how far i can launch one of the front of my durango..

it looks like that little camry sent that little toy flying.. about 20 feet, since my truck is about 2 x the weight of that camry, I think I could launch it about 40 feet.. cool

  • @kkp5200 hey i just wanna say ur an idiot one that is a s class benz mr no nothing about cars and if ur durango is twice the weight it would launch it 4 times farther because ur momentum would be 4 times greater at the same speed but u obviously are some country hick who knows nothing about cars or physics

  • @MyOpinionBest k thanks. lol

  • @MyOpinionBest he was making a joke fucktart. go suck your boy friends big dick and fuck off. you no nothing about taking a joke. you probably have one of these shit boxes any way.

  • @kkp5200 two times as much as gas too! Awsome

  • @kkp5200 imagine a hummer boom either a pancake or it goes over 100 feet like alittle toy

  • @kkp5200 it wasnt a camry, it was a mercedes

  • @kkp5200 that was a full size mercadies dude

  • @kkp5200 sorry my friend but durango is an ugly modafucka car....smart is small and beautyfull....is a piece of art not a piece of shit like ur sr...

  • @kkp5200 1. How the fuck does a German Mercedes equal a Japanese Toyota?

    2. Durangos are fucking hideous SUVs and Dodge just makes shitty cars in general.

    3. You're obviously trying to compensate for something because you keep bragging about how big and heavy your car is.

    4. Sorry about your penis.

  • @dotZodiac I made one comment almost nine months ago.

  • @kkp5200 You sure did, good job counting!

  • @kkp5200

your just as stupid as the engineering on your durango

  • @kkp5200

lol These are strictly city cars. You don't encounter high speed collisions in the city often.

  • @Charles2337 I saw people dumb enough to take it on the highway.

  • Also, SMARTDRIVER1000 and Astralord3000 are all SMART agents on here to brainwash you. Poo tang wee wong me tow you stupid Chinese Coffin-Makers

  • Also, I love how SMART is sending web agents to make comments that boost up the smart car and take the "going green" approach. If u were so much of a hippy, you would know that they had a water-powered car 110 years ago. Look at Ragnapebble, he's probably 3 different Chinese people paid to make good comments on SMARTCAR videos. Those damn things are coffins on wheels.

  • Well, heres the rep. That car up there hit at about 50MPH with a smallish car and crumpled like tinfoil. It has a 1* safety rating in the intelligant, non hippy's brain, and even some hippies are realizing that they are more important than a little air or a little money. You hit a mailbox with that thing and you're fucking dead. An SUV is safe, affordable, and has enough room so you can fit 6 people, or 3-4 people and some cargo. smartcar<motorcycle<car<SUV in safety and usability

  • jakość jest po prostu zajebista ;]

  • @MrElvisBlack jest ;)

  • Doesn't seem so smart.

  • total loss!!

  • BUT I CAN CARRY MY GROCERIES IN MY SUV

  • You may get slightly better gas mileage, but I don't look like a homo plus I still have my dignity.

  • everybody that thinks a "smart car" is safe, search this on youtube: MINICARS MICROCARS CRASH TEST FAIL CAR CARS AUTOS New Crash

  • 1.) Your practically almost riding at a 90' angle which isn't comfortable unless your fucking 5 1/2 feet tall, dwarf.

2.) How come I cant find videos of a smart car hitting another car at more then 45 mph?

3.) How come it sounds like a RC car that I plug up into my wall at night to charge?

  • @clockwerkcomin

There are lots of happy smart car owners over 6' tall.

  • lol

  • DAMN! That smart car got so owned

  • smartcars only for city driving

  • How about some FACTS instead of

    blind/stupid/ignorant comments!

Run a report on the smart car's safety record at the NHTSA site. This is a very safe car!

  • @smartdriver1000 the video says enough for me lmao there fuckin hazardous smart my ass!

  • @smartdriver1000 I'll tell you facts!! I've been a first responder (EMT) for 15 years, and the worst three accidents I've seen (for the people involved), were in the last two years......IN THESE DEATH TRAPS. If you want someone like me, to scrape what's left of you, off of what's left of your so-called Smartcar, then this is the car for you!! No Thanks!

  • @nellz72 Why don't the people in the big cars which are most often the bullies and stupid ones just obey the rules of the road and drive properly? There wouldn't be any crashes then.

  • @activist405 Actually its usually the smaller cars that are the bullies cutting other drivers off and making stupid moves. At least in this area.

They seem to think they have the right of way because they are smaller. That's not a rule of the road.

  • @nellz72 Hmm, My EMT friends always say older civics and motorcycles...

  • @tjohn6041 Yeah those are ugly too. Especially the motorcycles. There's usually not much left. Also, back when those little Suzuki samurai's were popular, a decade or so ago, they were pretty bad too.

  • @smartdriver1000 i'll stick to my very unsafe 17 year old commodore. lol

  • @smartdriver1000 Sorry, but if a Smart car hit my 3800 pound Ford Fusion V6 head on, the Fusion is going to win, more of a crumple zone so the energy of the crash is spread throughout the frame of the car. In a Smart the entire force of the impact is transmitted to inside the vehicle.

  • @smartdriver1000 Haaaa You cheap bastard, Your a "Smart driver" Yeah Real fucking safe looking crash ha??? Heres some facts! "Your DEAD" Who the fuck would buy a "Smart car" who is not suicidal! Good luck getting T-boned by a F550 never mind a big rig!! All you people who drive them are TIGHT ASSES !!!!!!!!!

Your probably tighter than a frogs ass!

  • @mvadinan540 like anyone actually goes around crashing into people seeing how safe their car is?!?!! it has the highest rating you can get so i think it is pretty safe...and by the way, he isnt "cheap" smart cars are a pretty high price. get real faggot

  • @smartdriver1000 YOUR A FUCKING QUEER! Alright let me tell you something, me and my dad were driving down the road and stopped at a red light and in front of us was a smart car. Me and my dad were laughing and making jokes about it, just then a semi~ came around the corner and turned towards us. My dad said "The Semi could use it as a hood ornament" and did a hand motion with it, the truck driver knew what he meant and started laughing, even though he didnt hear what he said. Those cars r a joke

  • @smartdriver1000 but it doesnt FEEL very safe...

  • @smartdriver1000 It may be a very safe car FOR ITS CLASS, but it is by no means an overall safe car!

  • @smartdriver1000 yeeeeea...i still prefer to be in the S class if a crash like that happens ;] and i see how safety and NOT flying backwards is the smart :D

  • @smartdriver1000 Car has a 5/5 safety rating which is higher than some 4x4's

    Now thats pretty damn safe.

  • @Parmazano That 5/5 rating is compared to a car of the same size. It's not safer than any 4x4.

  • @smartdriver1000 The NHTSA tests are controlled. Why dont you use common physics when looking at the amount of force and ENERGY that is going to be transferred into the smart car due to the low very very small amount of crunch zone on the car. Most accidents with this SMART car end up in Very serious /critical or even death. Put your money where you mouth is and face off against my Sebring LXI, or better yet my Yukon XL at 35 mph.

Your ignorance is NHTSA feeding u crow.

  • @smartdriver1000 it may have a good rating, but it still fails vs physics. if you crash into a truck or large car, you will die. the IIHS confirms this vvv

youtube..com/watch?v=cu95gB04VC4&feature=grec_index links dont work so removed the extra dot.

  • Life is a game of increasing your odds, and the Smart Car does not do that.

  • @smartdriver1000 Yea, until your in a real world accident and your best friend dies bitch. This car is shit, a chevy cobalt ran into my buddy and destroyed him. Ratings don't always make a car safe!

  • @smartdriver1000 as long as it doesn't hit anything larger.
