  • My lionhead rabbit's left eye has always drained since the day I got her, I actually chose her over the others thinking I could help her but nothing the vet has given me has kept it totally away. It always comes back. However, it never gets pussy or cloudy. It just drains and can get crusty if I don't clean it everyday. She's almost 6 years old now and we've gotten along just fine and she's happy. I just wonder why she has had this problem all her life.

  • Please tell me that the idiot owner of this rabbit was not allowed to bring it back home!

  • My 2 year old lion head has what we believe might be conjuctivitus a tiny pit of the hair around her eye is missing and their seems to be watery liquid coming from her tear duct.. I've been researching about this disease in rabbits and I've got an appointment to visit the vets next week.. However I would like to know how do rabbits develop conjuctivitus as when I looked it up I didn't get a definite answer... Could her sawdust of causing this problem with her eye?

  • Spot on. Really useful. This seems to be exactly what's wrong with my rabbit. She's straight off to the vets on Monday!

  • This is very informative. Five stars for sure!

  • Poor bunny. He looks so miserable! I guess it goes to show, don't just let a problem just sit, see the vet or at the very least get some reliable information.
