@MrJutubefan Jews are the enemy of the Church? A church founded BY a Jew? God help us all. I love the Latin Mass too, but dislike old hatreds and prejudices that have nothing to do with being a Catholic Christian, hatreds and prejudices which many traditionalists eagerly embrace in the name of "tradition". You'd bring back the Inquisition and the rack if you could. I know it. I just know it.
Why in the world would Latin be the language of heaven as opposed to anything else? What a ridiculous thing to say... why not Hebrew, why not Greek? The first mass was in Aramaic, so why not Aramaic?
the latin mass isn't very common in Edinburgh. the main protestant objection to latin mass is that it is in Latin- a language most cannot understand. most churches have regular English (and some Polish) Masses. the Latin mass has been gone since the 50s
Is the Latin Mass gaining? I understand that Pope Benedict is in favor of increased use. Is this correct? Are there Protestant objections to the Latin Mass? It seems as though it is theologically neutral, because everything is in Latin. One can be inspired by the reverence and awe of the music and ceremony without being 'distracted' by 'sermonizing'. I'm Protestant, but I'm a fan of the Latin Mass. I also like the Teachings of Jesus and U.S. Constitution. A basis for ecumenism and globalism?
I'm italian and I'm sorry for my english..Pope Benedict wants to eliminate the liturgical abuses which derived from an erroneous interpretation of the second Vatican Council..
For years it has been possible to attend Latin Mass in Maastricht.
Every Sunday at 10.00 in the Basilica 'Stella Maris'. By the way: in most churches in Limburg the Mass is celebrated conform the Modern Rite, but the traditional parts (Kyrie, Credo, Sanctus, etc.) are usually chanted in Latin.
Since september 2006 it is again possible to attend the Tridentine Mass in Amsterdam. Priests of the FssP celebrate low mass everyday at 12.00 and high mass on sunday at 12.00. St. Agneskerk, near Haarlemmermeerstation, oposite the city prison. Can be reached by tram 16 from the central trainstation. Te Deum Laudamus!

This is so beautiful.
With latin chants everybody can assist the mass and the songs bring us closer to god.
Should become more common again.
It has more value to me then the modern mass.
