It looks like tactical Labour leadership voting raises its Cerberus head again. Seems; given the media hyped Gemini options; those eligible to vote for the next Labour leader are forced to vote for one star sibling to keep the other eclipsed...
cont... that relies on sentiments and what naive, angry people want to hear rather than the reality of politics. The BNP for instance talks about stopping all immigration and pulling out of the EU but they won't tell people about the economic complexities of the issues. Any party that thinks in black and white terms has to be watched.
Im no diehard supporter of the Big 3- ive taken issue with numerous policies but id rather have a flawed big party than a divisive little party.
cont; as a BNP supporter and reactionist you will probably try to claim I am a Marxist Liberal Zionist Left etc. Im not. I have as much issue, if not more with the far left and im equally concerned at the rise of militant islamism which is probably a bigger threat right now than the far right.
Even if I wanted to vote BNP, I am a realist and at the current rate it will be approximately 100 years before the BNP could democratically form a government.
I'll probably vote Lib Dem. Their policies aren't perfect but they have stood against Tory and Labour policies and have been right on important issues. Whats more is they have a reasonably realistic chance of forming a government. Ive studied their policies and manifesto and whilst I take issue with some stances, I think they are the best option.
Political Arsonist extrordinaire!, I won't be surprised if she heads off to her native Australia after the next election, giggling at the political fire she's started,
Cameron is NOT attacking " unmarried families " as this fully paid-up Marxist is insinuating. I agree that encouragement should be offered to people to get married if they are having children. It's highly irresponsible and selfish for parents NOT to marry as the damage done to the mental development of their offspring when mummy or daddy leaves for a new partner is incalculable. Great idea Cameron !!
This COW. She covered up racial abuse, she lied to the police got residents arrested for saying regeneration was corrupt. She had fixed the resident board of directors, only labour party members were SELECTED NOT ELECTED. ANY HONEST resident was quickly removed from the board. One resident Elected by a massive vote in the morning removed in the afternoon.
Vile woman. This woman sold out her political princibles long ago. She is nothing but a right wing publicity whore. She is incompitant, greedy and corrupt. I had no intention of voting for Brown at the next election but if Hoon and Hewitt want him out, he will definately get my vote. He can`t be all bad if they dislike him.
I understand she's going into private buisness at the next election-all i can say to her workmates and managers-watch your backs-talentless woman and traitor !!
Fuck your Gordon Brown.. he's a pussy, a big coward. Let him say.. fuck terrorists and we're not allowing those sharia courts we don't believe in divided society. Otherwise we're closing down all mosques. And if muslims don't like that.. muslims are free to leave England. If they make trouble.. England should make trouble in the countries where they come from. Throw a bomb ones in a while, where they are born for instance. They can't help it, but we're not the one who should be apologising.
If you don't want a "divided society", you need to make better use of your empathy and intelligence. Of course we cannot allow subsections of society to establish legal systems that defy our own. I don't know how few Muslims want that, but it's few enough to make it an impossibility. And ordinary people from traditionally Muslim countries are no more responsible for their beliefs and the (almost non-existent) threat they pose to us than the UK's own people are. Care about and for the innocent.
It doesnt matter if we do, cause the quran stays retarded. Should we sympathise with that... cause first of all.. nobody want's to empathy with a peadophile unless he or she can see what's wrong with being one.
I can empathy with Mohammed having lots of woman. I would like the same. Now the way around. In this society we also have to empathy with woman. What if woman had 11 men.. and 6 year old boys to have sex with. What if you would be one of them. I wouldnt sympathise Mohammed.
It's really hard for people to understand each other- we can be so different. As you know, empathy isn't about agreeing with someone. It's about trying to understand them: because they are a human being as well, after all. Empathy is thinking, "Why does this human being hold that belief that I feel so strongly against? What's behind their thoughts and behaviour?" Even, "What's behind mine?" And then, as you are a caring person, "What response from me would most help the human cause?"
The Qur'an probably is full of rubbish, yeah. It'll have some really good stuff in it too, which will help people live well. I don't try and read and understand the Qur'an any more than I do the Bible. We don't have time for all that. But understand PEOPLE, including Muslims and Christians isn't something you have to dedicate your life to. It's just a matter of, when you encounter someone different, trying to understand how their common humanity (and goodness) fits into the picture.
I'm English so I will vote for a party which represents British people first. I will not vote for one of the "Marxist LibLabCon" parties, that might be ok for immigrants but not good for White Britons.
Are they trying to force an early election as it would seem that Brown would be wise to bring it forward before the in-fighting gets too aggressive! Just my 2 cents!
The best way to settle this, Labour, is to do what you should have done if you had the interest of democracy, the UK and it's people at heart, and have the referendum.
Too late now though, and once democratic process is forced upon you next election, with no way for you to obstruct it, you'll be rightfully outed like you should have been before Brown was even in.
I'd start preparing to be the opposition for at least the next decade, and be grateful for that. You deserve enforced disbanding.
How predictable. No, im not an immigrant. Im a British citizen and have been since the day I was born.
Here are just some reasons why I won't be voting BNP;
Nick Griffin is hardly an inspiring leader. He wants to be seen as a respectable politician whilst pretending to be some sort of martyr who has been persecuted by 'the media' I don't know why he's complaining- the BNP has been given more air time than other small parties. If he wants to be taken seriously, then he cont;
cont... has to be prepared to answer tough questions. All politicians are scrutinised.
- The BNP has a proven record of deliberately trying to stir up tension, by inventing murders for instance and talking about 'the muslims' as if that is one group. Another example of the BNPs 'them and us' mentality.
-The BNP is a party of pessimism. They are constantly running the UK down by talking about how terrible and awful things are. We have problems, but this country cont...
cont.... but this country is not the hell BNP candidates make it out to be.
- The BNP has a proven track record of discrimination against ethnic minorities, homosexuals and the unemployed and stirs up sentiments against many minorities by exageration and outright distortion. A party that deliberately tries to divide society does not deserve to be in government.
- the BNPs image change will not fool people who look deeper. The party may denounce violence and racism publicly cont;
WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1, Well that seems to be your opinion. You're probably not old enough to vote anyway, but if you are, then you are clearly not mature or wise enough to make an informed decision.
cont.... publicly, but anyone who has looked at the far rights history as I have will know that this is merely a tactic to get into power and if they ever do (God forbid) we will see the real BNP. Nick Griffin was filmed admitting that.
- The BNP has direct links to terrorism (David Copeland) and serious crime. 'Family events' involve burning golliwogs and the party ranks are full of convicted criminals. At least the big three keep their embarassments at very low levels.
Don't be simple forever, I suggest the big three as you call them have commited enough serious crime, but seem immune from prosecution simply by saying "sorry", Don't infuriate me any more with your drivvel.
DeadOriginal- the 'drivvel' is facts and you know it. Your'e infuriated because you can't handle these facts. Im not a member of the LibLabCon as you call them so ive no reason to act as an apologist for their mistakes. And for the record ive actively campained against government policies. Im no apologist for new Labour.
