@skatergt388 in my experience, people follow it regardless of other cars around them. e.g, dive up the inside under breaking and they turn in where the line says, when they should be giving you at least a cars width. Also, the idea of racing is finding the fastest line round the track (and doing it consistently). I think the line ruins this. Everyone ends up doing identical lines every track, when there is many places where different lines work just as well, its better finding it for yourself.

That hair pin is hell in a fully upgraded and tuned Veyron in cockpit mode. The breaking is so intense from fast speeds in Forza. I've also never been able to play without the suggested line. I'm awesome at racing with it but without I almost always crash on the corners. I don't memorize the tracks so...

Hi guys, I've been debating whether to get BFBC2 or MW2 (can only get one). So far ppl say that MW2 has a lot of problems and BFBC2 has dedicated servers and little problems. Then again, other ppl say BFBC2 can get easily boring if there's no teamwork while MW2 is always fun. I'm more inclined to get BFBC2 at this point. What do you have to say???

i played mw2 a lot, but i hated the campers so i start playing mw2 a lot less. i had weeks i didnt even play a single match, till i were by my cousin he bought bad company wich is a total differtent game cause, the gameplay pace is a lot lower wich i liked so if i came into your question i have to say it are btoh great games, just try them both and make your choice wich game u like more. Sorry for my bad english.

@mattsgoneskatin actually mate any 2real"racer knows that oval tracks are the hardest to race on- the only thing that separates the drivers are who can brake the latest (which is the skill that makes a "real" racer)

@chiller1012 what are you talking about, circuit racing on tracks such as silverstone, brands hatch etc are alot harder and take a lot more skill becuase as soon as you get out of one corner you have to be ready to go into the next and if you make the slightest mistake on the first corner it can cause you to lose time on the second corner, just because people go faster on oval tracks it doesn't mean people are better at racing, it just means they have more balls (for lack of a better phrase).

@chiller1012 Maybe you should watch F1 and nascar and see which drivers are put under more G-force, higher speeds, tighter corners, larger range of different corners and all the other things that make a track harder to race on, maybe it's because im not from a country where NASCAR is popular but all it seems to be is 2 straights and 2 wide corners alot of speed and dangerous crashes.

@chiller1012 Actually that is slower overall. If you go in "too hot" into the corner, you will slow down later and harder. This causes your corner exit to be much slower.

What you want to do is go in slow, and build acceleration through the corner. This builds momentum that you carry all the way down the straight. If you go in too hot, you have to brake harder inside the corner which causes you to lose some momentum.

You want corner exit speed, since that is carried down the straight.

@KevinFinch0101 acually im british and i race semi pro in brscc championship- i wa ssaying how these "yankee" tracks arent as easy to race as everyone thinks- the best drivers go into the formula/gp series and its harder there in terms of g force,corners like turn 8 istanbul. but those corners are designed to separate good cars from the bad- its easier to race, not drive there. oval tracks separate drivers not cars-doubt you will get it considering the fastest car youve driven is probz a prius

all i can say is so far all forza games are better than gran tourismo games, simply because they are more friendly to the casual players like me. but i know for sure that gt5 is gonna be a great game, but they make it so fucking slowly. after gt4 came out, forza motorsport came out, then forza2, and year ago forza3. and gt5 isnt even out yet?? gt5 has to be the greatest racing game ever made if it took over 3 years to make.

I love Forza to bits but I'll still be getting GT5 when (or if) it comes out this year. The thing I really like about Forza though, is how much you can customise it visually. It's amazing how awesome you can make your cars look. Other than the customising, I have to admit GT5 is better but the different elements of the two games make them both great in their own sense.

@Lukas5Gum It's cause he's using a Honda engine, they have low torque & high end power, so unless first gear is tuned really low, it will always take off slower. Each engine has it's own power/torque band, figuring the right Gear setup is everything in respect to that.

But yeah he's got the basics of the game down pat, and they're simple tips that can put an average player up there with the best, that's what great about Forza.
