For some reason, they're phasing out the woodland DPM, rather than the desert one, and seeing as the woodland DPM works much better in woodland environments than MTP, and there's only a marginal difference between the blending capabilities of DDPM and MTP, it doesn't make sense to me.

I noticed the guys all wearing belts and holsters. Wearing the white&grey camo. They should wear those items under neither there camo. also dark colors hats and things will stand out. You Want to "blend" in with nature. Nature doesn't have perfect horizontal or Vertical lines. Anything you can do to brake them up Will work better. Check out the "ultimate Sniper# 10" on winter camo. :)

well i live in michigan and i say that white does the best for my personal experiences. if u dont have white go with black. if u dont have black go with brown or green. but i have a camo shirt and pants the mixes white,gray,and black in a way that blends in perfect in winter forest enviroments.

OD green is good. Winter as you see, woodland works well from the legs up. You can always mix up some attachments with Coyote Tan and OD Green. Will give it the Woodland Effect. A Snow poncho can be used when you need to go all White or break-up.

Well I suppose warmth is always a necessity. I live in Montana so I might be off the mark a bit in my examples but this should work. Wear warm clothes of earth colors or slightly white if in the winter. (Obviously dont wear a red jumpsuit) Then the fun part. Ash. And. Water. Completely cover your body in ash. Light ash for lighter backrounds, and darker for darker. In winter lighter would be best. then use water to make spots and lines in the ash to distort your outline. Roll in sticks etc. Hide

Thought the footage is a bit grainy in a 3"x4" corner of my monitor, the point is made. All white works if you're in the Antartic and sticking with Woodlands is just as bad. The middle guy was "best" suited for MI in the winter. What's best are white pants(like the German winter ponchos or battleship gray streaks in the letters A and S) with either Woodland or Realtree HD Gray(tree-bark)tops.
