@92680BOYD I was a cop in the late 1980's and this was not the case - in fact, we practically abhorred the 1% as they were so demanding and almost always put out that "entitlement" vibe. Perhaps things are different today. I don't think the military will follow an UnConstitutional order (based on friends) - in other words, I don't think the majority of the military will have the government's back. @unfortunatebeam the difference may be the police were not really acting against 99% but against smaller elements - Hippies (said with no malice), poor immigrants, etc. During prohibition, the police primarily went after those making illegal alcohol but the enforcement by LEOs was very, very poor - the real head cracking came from the Feds. Perhaps things are different today. @unfortunatebeam the difference may be the police were not really acting against 99% but against smaller elements - Hippies (said with no malice), poor immigrants, etc. During prohibition, the police primarily went after those making illegal alcohol but the enforcement by LEOs was very, very poor - the real head cracking came from the Feds. The media also played a role - police are no less impacted by media frenzy than anyone else. (due to word limit, this is in two parts).
