If you were serious about wanting to know any true facts about scientology you should interview some real scientologists.
The "ex:s" are an extremely low percentage of scientology compared to the one's who are happy about and who have experienced the benefits of scientology.

About the "corporate money".
Recently all material, books and tons of lectures was released on CD in many, many languages. All the lectures has been translated and recorded in all these languages. A gigantic project.
I've actually read a pdf file written by a Scientologist - not the whole thing, but enough to understand it - that explains that the tech is changing - specifically, it focuses on one change. The second dynamic used to be sexuality, now, if I remember right, it is creativity and sexuality is "incidentally" included.

Except the FSM is a satire on religion in general. It's meant to be ridiculous so that "conventional" religions wouldn't seem too different from that. Not in it's basic message, but in its way of having you believe, through false statistics, special events which are being controlled by a higher power and so on. If you were serious about wanting to know any true facts about scientology you should interview some real scientologists.
The "ex:s" are an extremely low percentage of scientology compared to the one's who are happy about and who have experienced the benefits of scientology.

About the "corporate money".
Recently all material, books and tons of lectures was released on CD in many, many languages. All the lectures has been translated and recorded in all these languages. A gigantic project.
These things can not be done at no cost.
And staff must be paid.
Nothing strange about that.

The staff are paid.
Books and CD's are continually updated and translated into more languages. Books and CD's in these languages are then copied.
This cost money.
Other thing's money are used for:
Building schools in poor countries.
Information about human rights.
Fighting psychiatric abuse.
Setting up new churches, missions and dianetic centers.
Even if the donations are fixed the money goes to these good thing's. If it was taxed, less could be done. You want that?

I've actually read a pdf file written by a Scientologist - not the whole thing, but enough to understand it - that explains that the tech is changing - specifically, it focuses on one change. The second dynamic used to be sexuality, now, if I remember right, it is creativity and sexuality is "incidentally" included.
And you don't need $30,000+ per 0TIII to pay for updates for books.

Except the FSM is a satire on religion in general. It's meant to be ridiculous so that "conventional" religions wouldn't seem too different from that. Not in it's basic message, but in its way of having you believe, through false statistics, special events which are being controlled by a higher power and so on. Basically religion in general can be good, as long as people don't take it out of context, and don't force it onto anyone else.
