Just out of curiousity but do you have to paint on the faces? And how do you come up with these ideas? Or do you get them from a book?

@ihavealotoffriends12 You can also make the face with tiny pieces of clay or draw it on with permanent markers. :) Some I just sit down and make. Other times I look through pages and pages of creations on the internet and splice together bits and pieces of them. There are a couple of polymer clay books by Klutz - I have one.

@brookealison11 You get a 2 ounce block. And, if you're making mini stuff, like I do, it lasts quite awhile. I mean, I can definitely make more than 10 pumpkins with one block of clay (minus the stem, unless you just want to paint that green at the end).

@SparklyPeriwinkle Thanks!! =] Yes, you can. && here's a trick - you can start off with a ball of foil and cover that with orange clay. By doing that, you will use less clay and it won't be as heavy.

@Geegee12396 It depends on how many materials you already have. Say you need 2 bottles of paint, a bag of eye pins, & two blocks of clay, it could cost as little as about $4-5, if you catch the sales (which I do) - if not, over $10. Then, if you need paint brushes, tools, glaze, it will be more, of course. But, you could use tooth picks to paint and as tools, if you really wanted to. And, clear nail polish for glaze - not sure if it's recommended, but you could try.
