I love this acceptance speech, mainly because it forces Heath to speak for longer! The few acceptance speeches he made that I have seen were relatively short. I know he is reading Cate Blanchett's words but its just a delight to see him take centre stage for longer than he would typically. And in my eyes is just another example of how giving, selfless, humble and anti-Hollywood/ self absorbed he really was. We miss you Heath, always xx

This video really shows how funny H.L. was. Poking fun at himself and his little prepared speech "Thank You". I wonder if most the people there got it. And at the end where he was holding the box award-just like the price is right. That was really something-again I wonder if the people there thought it was funny or thought he was crazy. haha. fearless-I don't think any other actor would have accepted someone else's award like that. Moments like this-is what made him so great and endearing.
