  • Didn't get the gist of the video - but your editing skills are phenomenal. Nice work!

BTW -were the winners of this contest ever announced, and is there some place you can go and watch them?

  • how come the roads never burn?

  • Beautiful. I had no problem with the length vs. content because I've always thought of this NIN piece as more meditative. Your imagery compliment the piece quite well.

  • Interesting take on the song. Good work. =)

  • i like some parts of this, its well made, but it adds to the length of the song. perhaps some changes in colour effects at different stages of the song. The church element towards 3.51 is too bright, would have been better shooting those scenes in that early dawn or dusk time. Altogether a rather amazing video with a very pretty subject dressed to suit the colours. excelent work.

  • Meh, I'm just not feeling it. I don't like it, sorry.

  • thank god no one cares about your opinion

  • the video is okay. a bit repetitive in syncing it with the banjo tho. epic song tho.

  • holy shit a video with actual editing, i'm impressed.

  • thank you.

  • @TheLittleBoar i agree.

  • Interesting piece of work. You have true talent.

  • This is much different then your earlier style. I think I prefer your original style better. I'm not too fond of the random frames popping up inside of a bigger frame. Though it does go well in sequence with the music. I like the fading and overlapping frames better.

  • i like it , i guess ill sub

  • Very good!

  • Nice one Sav!! love it

  • Reminds me of The Tracey Fragments. Wonderful film, and this is good too.

  • i think this is your best work so far! i love this experimental stuff.

  • this needs to be HD not HQ

  • Great job! Interesting and uber trippy footage, i like it, looks like a good scene from a movie or something you know? Love the music too, I remember when i first bought the disc, i slipped it into my car stereo and zoned out the whole trip home! haha great stuff tho keep it up.

  • Superb.

  • Love it!

  • Sooo Wicked thank you for matchen this up Well done KaBahm

  • My comment about the length, I'd say it's not your film that is too long, it's the track. Your images are always keeping the interest. The editing always gives us something new to see or to interpret. Do I have to say that I loved it ??? It's an awesome film. You have a great sense of showing.

  • Nice integration to the music with the edit, but I wish the images are more interesting or better shot.

  • Very well done.

  • Yeah man, totally get it. I think that's one of its issues. When do you think it gets too lengthy and how do u think it could have been avoided?

  • Absolutely fantastic Savva mou -- keep it up!

  • I loved it. The editing was great, and it looked gorgeous in high definition. It reminded me a bit of mine. I guess great minds think alike!

  • Love the way you did this, hope you get in for all your hard work!

  • love it

  • Though, the work seems enchanting...editing seems poor. A bit more work Savvas and one day you will be dining with the gods of modern filmography.

    Yours Truly

    Sam Mendes

  • Savva, its amazing, i love it! I love the way you use the mystery of the music to introduce these thresholds of nature. The camera shots are stunning! I told you before u r amazing babe, keep it up and good luck xx

  • You know I've always believed in you Savvas, you've managed to impress me with every piece of work you've done and continue on doing so with more intensity as you grow and evolve with your skills.

Fantastic film cut, not sure how good the others will be in your categories nominations but you have my vote!

  • Great job guy!

  • babe you're amazing. the editing is just amazing. en kserw ti na pw. i love it!

  • simfwnw gia to colour-editing. episis tha ksexorisw tin skini me tin enallagi tis kamenis fisis me tin orthodoxi ekklisia k to statement pou dimiurgite. k genika to gegonos oti xrisimopoiises to kipriako topio. well done!

  • As far as editing, cinematography, and ideas are concerned, u had me from the quote:) I would like to se your scenes and ur cuts playing more with contrast/tint/brightness, to give it a more eerie haunting effect. Other than that, i think this is your best !! Keep it up

  • Oh and one more thing: the colour-editing is amazing.

  • The camera work is beyond beautiful, the way you fit music and image together is just.. stunning. As oreste86 said, I love the poetry behind it. It really helps the message stand out. Overall, excellent. Congratulations!

  • This is truly amazing! I'm not an expert on camera work as kashioua mentioned, but I really like the poetry behind all of it, tying everything together to the poem at the beginning. Well done Sav!

  • Mr Stavrou this is excellent work. I love the poetry bit in the beginning and the abstract nature shots. Beautiful camera work.
