Attention sorry I keep commenting but in book 54 Tobias leaves them,the ANIMORPHS grow up,ax goes missing,Jake ordered Rachel to kill Tom and they both died,they reveal their secrets and MORPHS in front of everyone,Marco is like a billion air,Cassie is seeing another guy,and Jake gets depressed.MORAL OF STORY NEVER READ BOOK 54 IF YOU AN ANIMORPH FAN. I just cant understand why these books are out... One day they were just out, out, I cant believe it, but its true, in Norway theres NO books available, what a shame, because this is the best book series EVER!

@meemster786 I love Tobias' narrations. They're so unique and deep. Personally, I would have you go back and read The Invasion and The Visitor just to give you their back story. Then you could either decide to go in order the whole way or you could pick your favorite character and just read their books, that's what some people have done too.

@meemster786 I liked the sickness, I also loved the capture. In the sickness, Cassie has to morph a yeerk and in the capture, Jake falls in the yeerk pool and becomes a controller. I loved it

@shadowsta9 A had a sickness where one of his glands would eplode and eventually lead to his death if not cured.Cassie had help from ''non violent,peace loving'' yeerks to help her acquire her and fix Ax gland from within.Ax didn't like it coz he was infested by a Yeerk and he owed his life to a yeerk.

What I want to know is what the names of the kids in these pictures are. They are who we as readers imagine when we read the books. Why couldn't they be in the TV show? Who are they? They're perfect (for looks).

And by the way, the music playing is "Windows Welcom Music", or "title". It can be found on Windows XP computers under C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\image­s "Oobe" stands for "Out of box experience", as in "new computer". It plays when you first setup WinXP. Music written by Brian Eno.

They don't exist. The Animorphs covers are paintings.

@FreemanJS91: David B. Mattingly created the illustrations of Andalites, Yeerks, Hork-Bajir, and other things in his cover and inside cover illustrations for the Animorphs books. However, the people who appear as Jake, Rachel, Marco (2 people), Tobias (2 people), Cassie, Ax in human form, the body of Super Rachel, and the fighter pilot on the cover of book 46 were all real people that had to be photographed. David illustrated the three transitional forms of them for the covers. (Continued...)

Furthermore, if you download the Anibase at the Animorphs website, certain trivia bits specifically mention people coming in to be photographed, and one trivia item lists how the previous actor who portrayed Tobias had done something to his hair, so they had to get a new boy to portray Tobias for book 43 and 49. The Tobias of books 3, 13, 23, and 33 was different. With Marco, book 5 was one guy and books 20 onwards were a different guy (I think). The question remains: Who were these people?
